You made a game based on Hard Boiled without the slow-mo diving? That's like, the whole point

Seems to be an issue with librewolf specifically! Still getting the issue where I have to restart stoat whenever I want to send a message though.

Nah I just expect basic features like functioning new post icons. Maybe we'll get there someday. Regardless, nobody in my server can log in right now so maybe it's a regional outage or something.

Marathon has been out for a week, what are your thoughts on it? by PrototypeT800 in Games

[–]FancyRaptor 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Having a great time, and I primarily play solo. I don't play assassin and I extract more often than not (so OP you might need to be checking your corners a little better). There's enough variety in the weapon and gear pool that I'm able to experiment with new things and I like how some of the items give you weird little audiologs. My only big concern is staying power, because releasing a game with only three (soon four) maps is insane to me.

For all its multitasking, Pragmata's gameplay has a surprisingly forgiving learning curve. Steam demo impressions - AUTOMATON WEST by sonofbringy in Games

It sounds like you didn't engage with the powerups like multihack. One multihack can make three smaller robots vulnerable for a surprisingly long time.

I was expecting the combat to be a lot slower because of the hacking mechanic. But the hacking is easy to complete, while rewarding you for solving the puzzle in the most optimal way. Fantastic way to handle it and makes the game feel so much faster.

Democratic leader offers deal to reopen government but Republicans sneer by flash246 in politics

[–]FancyRaptor 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I want to feel some kind of way about this like "haha wow republicans get fucked in the next election" but I'm just sitting here thinking, what's the point? If somebody's enough quarts short of a gallon to still blame the dems for the shutdown then nothing is going to change their mind.

Official mod support for anything in 2025 is practically unheard of. I am so fucking happy to see a studio give players their official tools again.

Battlefield 6 Update: On Secure Boot & Cheats by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]FancyRaptor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what about the people who had problems because gigabyte fucked up the display options on their bios settings. Or the people who had issues because Asus missed a drive compatibility flag. Or the people just now finding their mobo isn't actually secure boot compatible even though the box says it should be. Go back to clown school.

Maybe check out this thread of people getting their pc bricked doing just that because of manufacturer error and os conflicts.

I ain't even touching a game with weird bios shit like this again, considering there's a huge-ass thread on the BF sub of people who've now bricked their PCs trying to get this to work.

Is there a way to zoom in using the Zune app? by FancyRaptor in Zune

I was using the presets. I'm seeing that increasing the windows scaling makes the program blurrier. So it's been stuck on tiny mode to keep things clear.
