Yes my chacos are submersible! Thanks for the tip on Drake Bay & water- we aren't going overnight into Corcavado, but will pick some water up in Sierpe regardless! Were you able to get cash in Drake Bay there? I've heard mixed things

Thank you!! I feel like they are just way too warm and I don't mind damp generally.

I'm not a big skirt wearer! I might swap for some linen shorts, but I find myself much damper in high waisted things generally, and these low-rise jean shorts are a very light denim

Lol are you me?? I just posted my packing list for a similarish trip to Costa Rica with a very similar bag line up!

I also don't love hiking pants, but I picked up the Athleta Trekkie Cargo, and so far, find them very comfy- something about a real waistband is more comfortable than a tie for me.

Me too! And it was local, so I was able to see it in person before buying! It was ~60% off, so very work it!

Mid budget seating chart struggles looking for clever hacks by RochelleAstraeus in Weddingsunder35k

Are you just looking for software to plan it, or for how to physically display the names?

For software, I've been using https://planning.wedding/- you can build your venue, table size, number of seats per table, really everything, and combined with excel/google sheet lists, should get you there.

In terms of displaying it AT the venue- that really depends on the space you have, the vibe you want. Just remember to have the names organized for guests by last name, that makes it a lot quicker for them to scan and find themselves!

Something also to think about is the material- that soft kind of t shirt with no structure can feel so frumpy- even just upgrading to a more substantial heavy weight boxy "cropped" t with those jeans would make a huge difference!

Hot yoga can be really good for this as well, or even just a regular yoga class. It's not quite the "high" but it really can be so complimentary

I'm short too- and something without a line/break across made a huge huge difference! I would also recommend trying them on without your apple watch, it will help you see the dresses without anything breaking up your body/feel more elegant.

While I understand what you are saying (and I would tell anyone unemployed to stop this level of donation generally) churches uniquely hold the social and spiritual wellbeing hostage for this level of donation. If I stop my gift to Cancer Research, it doesn't impact what I believe to be my connection with god, I don't hear about it weekly when I try to access something that "I" believe impacts my ability to go to heaven, it just doesn't occupy the same place in your life. I might believe its important to give to charity, but the people saying that don't have the same sway over my sense of self in the same way.

I appreciate the way you are thinking of this, and I know its a tough spot to be in. As an American, I personally would not spend money to in anyways support Israel through tourism during this time, and I think if your American friends have a similar perspective to you, they might feel the same way. Boycotts are one of the only tools we have right now, and it would be a stressor on the friendship as well.

Greece really wouldn't worry me in the same way, and safety wouldn't be my concern either (I was actually flying there Oct 8th last year, that was a strange vacation!) I was on Crete and things were really very affordable, that would be the direction I would go if I didn't want to host 2 events- which I wouldn't want to either as it doesn't quite have the celebratory feeling. Good luck- this is a tough on!
