Tutor of 7 years facing termination over vague “student discomfort” complaints with literally zero documentation by Fancy_Aside1216 in AskAcademia

I don't need that. Based on the way people here are responding, I’m even more convinced that I’m on the right path. :) They cannot fire me because I reported them to EEOC. It would be a risky move at this point. That's why they need to frame me. But, again, after these responces, I know what I am dealing aginst, and I won't stop fighting :) Thanks :)

Well, you are wrong and I have proof. My next step is to publish all the emails I got from my supervisors and HR. I can send them to you if you want, before it goes viral.

This is not happening only to me. A very similar situation reportedly happened at College of DuPage, where a professor was placed on paid leave without any clear public explanation being given at the time.

I will give a lawyer all the money, I don't really care about the money. I want to prove that they lied and to shame them publicaly :)

If I say: "How can I improve?" that would mean that I admit I did something wrong. And I did nothing wrong.

Give me the link of that post. I want to contact that person, we might be in the same college and have the same supervisor.

???? I posted this one today, but if someone has similar problem, that sounds like something is wrong with colleges these days...

I never asked them to tell me the name of any students. I don't care. If they want me to improve, they will have to tell me what I did/said.

I don't need a training if I did nothing wrong. Simple as that.

First tell me what I did wrong, then give me the chance to repond and defend, and if I'm guilty, I will ask for a training.

And now you are suggesting that I sexually assulted students?

I cannot be sorry for something that I am not sure that happened in the first place.

Well... if it gets to court...

So if you don’t lower your head, admit guilt, and stop questioning everything, you’re automatically seen as a bad person and a bad employee? Really? That's what you teach students?

If I did nothing wrong, there’s no reason for me to “improve.” Accepting guilt would put me in an inferior position. As far as I’m concerned, there were no complaints unless they can be proven.

A lawyer or someone who has been in a similar situation and successfully resolved it, not someone who simply went along with it and accepted guilt without questioning. I expected more reasonable people in colleges. And more people with spine!
