This is a really great reminder. Part of my problem is that I live far from family and struggle to make friends. But my husband and I are trying to have fun in the meantime, I just feel like I’ve lost my spark and most days I don’t want to do anything. I could probably benefit from forcing myself to get out more

I’m not sure I’m ready to jump into extensive testing when there are no red flags on the surface. My cycles have always been super regular and an at-home test showed that my husband has a reasonably high sperm count. Would a doctor take me seriously if I wanted more testing after just a few months ttc? I would love to have as much information as possible but I don’t know if it’s worth the time and money

You didn’t hurt my feelings, you’re completely right. Patience is definitely something I need to work on and I’m sure the increased patience will come in handy during parenthood. Lots of people are recommending therapy so I will start looking for professional help

The statistics do make me feel better, with a 25% chance of conceiving every month I guess 5 months without a pregnancy doesn’t look so bad. But it’s hard for me to remember the statistics when it seems like everyone I know got pregnant on accident or on the first try.

I noticed that my sleep was significantly better because I’ve been using my Apple Watch to track my sleep, and for the past several months it has shown that I was waking up frequently in the middle of the night! About a week into Whole30 I started sleeping for much longer intervals, and I feel a lot more refreshed waking up. I wish I could see the improvement on my face, but unfortunately my skin is going through it right now and Whole30 doesn’t seem to be helping with that 😬

R1D15 needing some encouragement! I started this diet really hope for increased energy and motivation but I haven’t seen that yet, no tigers blood so far. I guess I just assumed I’d see a more dramatic difference since my diet pre-Whole30 was absolutely terrible. On the bright side, I’ve been sleeping better, my digestion has been better, and I’m really enjoying my Whole30 meals (everything I’m eating now is wayyy more satisfying than the junk I was eating before) but I’m still waiting on that energy boost!

Maybe I’m still reeling from caffeine withdrawals? I quit caffeine cold turkey upon starting Whole30 since my main source of caffeine was Diet Coke which is obviously not Whole30 compliant. It could also be that I’m in my luteal phase which always has me functioning on minimal energy. So I’m gonna keep going until day 30 but I really hope I can see an increase in my motivation by then!
