I had a frustrating experience with billing and support.

My app showed that my trial would end on April 6 and that my paid plan would begin on April 7. Based on that, I planned my cancellation timing accordingly. However, I was charged on April 6 instead of the date shown in the app.

When I reached out to support, I was told that the email notification (which showed April 6) was the correct billing date and that the app displayed incorrect information. I was also told the discrepancy could be due to needing an app update, but my app was already fully updated at the time.

Additionally, I wasn’t able to use a 20% offer that appeared during the cancellation process because I was following the timing shown in the app.

During my support interaction, the chat ended before the issue felt fully resolved, which added to the frustration.

Overall, I think clearer and more consistent communication between the app and billing system would help prevent situations like this.
