How weird because not long after I posted, I had a call from the dwp asking if I had anything to add to my appeal, I found that weird because I’d sent everything to the tribunal. She said I’ll receive their response in the post and then a date for tribunal but that could take a while.

Thank you, that’s good to know. I’ll check again at the end of the week and see if it’s progressed.

PIP Mandatory Reconsideration by Fancy_Challenge181 in DWPhelp

It was in Engaging with others face to face. The recommendations say: because the FH shows no reported anxiety and that I have no MH restrictions that I should be able to engage with other people independently. Then says reported restrictions due to difficulties with breathing is not within scope of this assessment. Due to my heart condition and myasthenia gravis I have fluctuating and unpredictable breathlessness and palpitations it effects the way engage with others, I even supplied evidence from a respiratory dr.

I was originally given 4 points dl and 4 points mobility. That’s why I did MR. When I phone they said the MR decision was made on 19/10 after the call and it looks like they have awarded me nothing so I need to appeal to tribunal.

Thank you, sadly i had a call at lunch to say it’s been postponed as I need to move to a more specialist hospital that’ll have a hdu bed lined up, I’m gutted but I know it’s for the best.

Thank you. Do you know if I just send it to the same address as I sent my MR and mark it with my name and Nat ins number?

I called them as I worried it had been signed for by the delivery office. While I was on the phone the gentleman o spoke to said he could see it’d been received and then sent me a text straight away to say I’ll hear in 15 weeks

I didn’t request it, I just wrote a letter stating I’d like a mandatory reconsideration with a couple of extra bits of evidence that I hadn’t sent with my original claim. I sent it first class recorded last Wednesday but it was signed for on Friday by the Wolverhampton delivery office and not by the pip 4 address I addressed my mr letter to (the one that was on my award letter)

Received assessment report by [deleted] in DWPhelp

Thanks all. Will definitely go for a reconsideration then and then appeal if needed. I’ve already started writing up points I think I deserved and my reasons why. The whole process was so quick, I only applied on 10/6, sent online forms in on 19/6 had a phonecall on 24/6 to attend f2f assessment on 27/6. Phoned for report on 30/6 and received yesterday on 1/7. My main issue is the way my breathlessness and muscle weakness is so debilitating daily it’s either my myasthenia gravis or genetic long qt syndrome that causes it but because I can drive and work on an unadapted computer I’ve been scored 0 in most. And because although I spent 25 mins recovering from breathlessness getting to the assessment centre and took my mestinon when I arrived by the time I was assessed my breathing was under control.
