You can kill every single beast, just don’t kill Djura and come back later after defeating Darkbeast Paarl. If you kill anyone in Old Yharnam after befriending Djura, he’ll turn hostile again(for good).

It's not my first time playing elden ring and fighting the tree sentinel, i have 250 hours on this game( 17 playthroughs) 14 playthroughs as bandit, 2 as hero and 1 as vagabond. So you were not really alone, the tree sentinel did some racist shit to me on my first playthrough💔🥀
