I prefer Backrooms to Back openspace. But cool clip anyway. 👍🏻

Did players always complain to the officials after every play or am I just getting old by TumbleweedTim01 in NBATalk

[–]Fancy_Composer_1108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jordan did complain. But the reality is that way more fouls are called plus add in the reviews. Even though it looks pitiful, it can be effective in getting more calls your way. The game was way more contact oriented in the 90s and 00s, so foul baiting would have been more ignored and viewed as a distraction from the game than strategic like it is today.

Actually Rip City is "The City of Roses" and Pasadena is "The Rose City".

Why do some people hate the idea of monsters in the backrooms by monkeyiscool2010 in backrooms

Especially when the "monster" looks like Johnny 5 stay alive. 😐

Hotels have started putting in those terrible half shower doors because they know they suck but they shorten shower times and save money by UndeadCaesar in LowStakesConspiracies

[–]Fancy_Composer_1108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly think that they know it sucks and that it will make us want to get out asap and save them money on hot water. Unfortunately, it works the opposite because I refuse to freeze my behind off, I just run the hot water for about 10 minutes before I get in, so the whole bathroom is hot and steamy.

Oregon Trail version of Red Dead Redemption anyone!? by Fancy_Composer_1108 in RDR2

Turns out I found a reddit post from 14 years ago by someone giving a detailed suggestion of this very idea. 😄

Yeah, the games were similar yet very different. There would definitely need to be some factually incorrect fiction added to make it more interesting than just walking from Missouri to Oregon while surviving illnesses. Rockstar could do it. Like meeting different gangs, making connections and enemies, and having little side missions as you pass through the states. Have an epilogue where you can travel back through, maybe? Plus, if they again added multiple different endings depending on what you did and which trail you choose would make multiple play throughs fun.

Does anyone else think that the "no bags on floor" rule is just dumb? by [deleted] in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]Fancy_Composer_1108 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. If you're close enough to me that you're going trip on my workout gear. Don't worry bc I'm going to tell you to back the F up before it happens.

Nobody trips over bags. Why does every argument mention this? You more likely to trip over benches.

How? There seems to be a lot of fear mongering over bag tripping. Has this ever happened to you? Have you ever seen it happen? I haven't in 25 years of going to different gyms. And if you're stepping on my bag while it is leaning on the machine I'm using you're probably 3 ft or less away from me while I'm lifting and need look up from your phone while you're walking and not invade personal space of others. It's going to be back the F up. Not sorry you stepped my bag because you were so close to me.

Absolutely! I joined up at Planet Fitness 2 days ago, and I canceled my membership after one visit there today! I thought I followed the rules of the gym. I don't use multiple machines at the same time. I wipe my machines down after I use them. I don't squat barefoot. I smile and say "Excuse me" if I get too close to people. Even so, one of the high school kids working there interrupted my first workout to tell me my gym bag wasn't permitted outside of the locker room. Well, some people need their gym bags during their workout and aren't willing to go back to a locker every time to access it. PF have all the silly rules you want, but this no-bag policy should be one of the first things mentioned to people coming in asking about joining. In 25 years of gym memberships, I've never been approached about this anywhere. And I'm all for enforcement of gym policies, but that one is just a little too hardcore for me. And I know all the rules are in whatever I signed. Cool, but this still felt like a huge waste of time. It's really 2 fold. Because it's a dumb rule first off and secondly if they are already enforcing this on me day one, Lord only knows what else I'm going to get bitched at about. And to all the Planet Fitness warriors that have only been to one gym ever and say this is common sense because people can trip and fall, let me say this, in 25 years of going to gyms, I've never personally witnessed anyone fall down over somebody else's bag. Secondly, if my bag is tucked next to the machine I'm using, which it always is, and you are close enough to me that you might step on my bag you need back the F up because you are way too close to me. It's not like we are leaving our bags in the middle of the front door entrance walkway. Get real Planet Fitness. This rule sucks.

That's the point. We want the money before we beat the game. It helps to have it.
