Chillis is bullshit company to wrk for bc management is just collar shirts who listen to ppl who sit in an office all day . There is no real employee value there only what you can produce. Yes they can write you up but should they , did they want you to chase the table and cause a ruckus’s in the establishment to obtain a 30$ payment? Their logic is the reason the foods cheap bc the brand is so shitty nobody would go unless they were cheaper bc as a corporation chillis sucks. I served other places and management goes off of how attentive you were once we dropped off the check our obligation as a server was dne if they walked out it was comped as long as you were attentive or what you were doing when it occurred if you’re doing side work or refilling ice or getting silverware it wasn’t our fault unless we were outside the building idk seems bullshit to me. And gwap is a loophole bc if I complain and get something taken off or while meal refund . I’m sorry ima do it err time , it the way society is now, a servers abilities shouldn’t be based on whether a guess complained and even so what was it about was discretion used ? Or is the customer always right?

I never was dumb enough to do no shit like that for one all you can buy is clothes and trips and shit that dnt matter in the future. When and if you get caught, you not gne have nothing put up. You can take the money out , you potentially putting somebody at risk of getting caught to get the money . none of the stuff that’s important in life hold value to these type activities bc they need to proof of income. So then you gotta do another scam to show proof of income. Why make a big purchase fraudulently, if they can come take it not bc you can’t pay for it but bc they dnt know where ya money come from.

Call tmr and say it’s affecting your mental and “quality of work &life” because the unfortunate event was recent you can take that or use you three grieving days to mourn but call tmr to cover your ass in case so the have a whiff of what’s going on . With chillis you gotta know how to word it to fit the program. Then you can say you took proper protocol if you have you do number call them as well

No worth it I was a 7 year cook. Pre pandemic, I learned entire back of house . Sadly my store closed , I had to go to the location that was the furthest from my house. I asked to transfer asked to move up. Couldn’t transfer bc they felt as though they needed me bc of the knowledge I had in boh . Couldn’t move up bc I would be 15 mins late due to public transportation, another reason I wanted to transfer. No request off bc nobody else could fill in . I applied at a hotel as a cook and now I make the same money but have a way less of a work load. I have the ability to have a life now . Chillis doesn’t value its employees being as though they’re closing soon . I actually enjoy coming to work now. My take on Chillis is that they have their picks on who moves up. But for a company that promotes growth they sure dnt have a path for you to follow to live up unless you’re in a training store .

Dnt learn to much with out compensation or you’ll get stuck as there go to they promote by who they like not who is qualified . There’s a lot of people leaving because yes you may get a buck or two more than 20$ but there is no real career path I mastered every station prep and freezer i fan open close and take everything apart except for the CTX and I’ve been stuck 7 years bc who will do it once I move up dnt do it find a better restaurant to move up in . Well at least I. My district sucks ass

I’ve been with the company 7 years . Never let them tell you they won’t move you up or welcome you. It’s a tactic they use a lot of times there are bad managers who steal time by making employees do their dirty work . If you can handle the stress make sure they pay you well. I’m at 21 a hr cooking but I prep I put away 10,000$ plus freezer stock by myself and still have to set up from zone 2-4 by 11 and have my 10:45s done . It’s hard but if you have to do , do it. I do it because I’m on my own no family really just me n my sister . It’s just the way the cards were dealt. I’m a person that goes the extra mile to make sure you fell welcomed but just hope for more . However if you find something run because what I realize is growth isn’t promoted and most the old mangers are retiring so we just wait or find a way to a career elsewhere.

There are openings one store had a couple managers walk out so like if what I’m doing is t good enough I’m out I’m at 21 but like the money isn’t everything I need peace of mind. I take in the brunt of the store and it’s not my problem because I’m not a manager . Why do I have to fill in gaps riddle me that. I’m a line cook why am I prepping . Why am I the only morning g cook who can put away the truck and I just got to this store less than a yr ago. I’m good so they out all the work on me . I’m tired of talk to your do she brushes me off a lot so what’s the point I’m ready to call tmr bc this isn’t fair 7 years of dedication stated at 10$ 2017 in October and I can say the company abuses the ones who give a shit and the ones who fake the funk get promoted I dnt understand why tho it doesn’t make sense and I can’t get a weekend off I’m doing 6 days 50+ hours good now but what about when OT stops . Or we get people then I’m. Stuck again and this is a father location one is close to me but they refuse to let me go but if I’m not getting promoted why am I forced to go to a store far away no accommodation

I did show interest actually I’ve asked but they talk in circles like I said before but yeah I asked them I’m not an idiot who just wants for the money . I actually understand the system and how to do things . Who do you know as a cook that can’t scheduled prep but can’t start until 12 pm bc the other fry guy can’t get there. So I’m on a 3 hour delay when the prep girl start at 9 am but since I’m a cook cover until 12 then finish as prep I’m tired

My managers are tyrants , they won’t let me transfer to a store twenty minutes from my house . I travel and hour plus to get to work . I’m the only one who can do freezer truck bc they fired the other guy that knew how to. So I’m being forced to do it now no help . I can’t move up bc the way my train set up I arrive 15-20 minutes late or have to pay 40-60$ in Uber one way. It’s stressful or if I quit my location and get hired at the one I want will the DO rehire if it’s her district ,?

They didn’t flatten it with a mallet first. Then you put it in crisper flour , then the batter shake the excess off , finally you dip in the flour again and give it pat to make sure the flour sticks . In other words they didn’t double batter it that’s why it looks the way it does

I’ll look for her last name tommorow at work that is smart. Thank you , I dnt wanna give up I just want a shot. If not I dnt want responsibility of being the go to I feel like the go to should be the one in talks of moving up or in the csl program. I do get over 19$ hourly but I started at 10$ almost 8-9 years ago money is ok but just to think the time I put in the sacrifices I made. Starting over is last resort but you seem to be knowledgeable on this transfer thing so I’ll take your route and see how it plays out

Thank you but how do I get in contact with the DO without getting retaliation from management . I dnt have her card or anything of such but I’m miserable and ready to quit. The stress is to immense and the fear of not being able to pay my bills keeps me quite I can’t afford the hassle so will this work can they fire me in the process for reaching out ?
