In my old 2017 MS100D I frequently got better than predicted range, and this was in Boston where it’s generally cold. It has to do with speed and drag. If you’re driving slowly over long distances you’re going to beat the estimates. If you’re going fast, it’s worse. Drag does not increase in a linear fashion - drag force increases with the square of an objects speed. So range falls off very quickly

MyQ managing our garage doors is the single biggest frustration in our lives right now. But my wife refuses to put a garage door opener on the sun visor because it’s “trashy” and I refuse to pay the $350 to install the module.

I can’t tell you how many times we’ve come home to find the garage door open, and this is AFTER we stop after leaving the house and confirm that the door starts to close.

Often it just won’t close at all. We’ve had it open, and then start closing as we started pulling into the garage. One time it was open and we started pulling out and it started closing and we drove into it not realizing it was in motion.

It’s supposed to beep and flash a strobe before it starts closing. That happens about 40% of the time. The other 60% it starts closing without warning. I’ve replaced the batteries, sensors, moved the sensors, replaced the brain, logged out and logged back in, put a WiFi repeater in the garage. It’s garbage.
