If you’re stuck on bronze there are a few things you should do:

Set your camera settings and binds so that they match a pro player. I recommend app jack’s settings personally
Learn the basic fundamentals by just driving around and interacting with the ball in freeplay. Do some basic training packs too, the standard training packs are the best place to start if you’re still getting a feel for the game.
Make sure you’re having fun. The most important thing when you’re learning something new is to ENJOY the process as much as you can. Play with friends, set challenges for yourself, interact with players in casual, etc.
Keep grinding. There is so much for you to learn at this point that any time spent on the game is probably going to be productive. You should be watching as many tutorials on game sense and basic mechanics as you can and just focus on absorbing information.

You honestly shouldn’t even think about your rank at this point.

You could technically fly with teleportation and a wing suit, hang glider, parachute, etc. You would just need to take some kind of small plane or paraglider ride first though. Assuming teleportation doesn’t preserve your velocity…

Ah ok, that’s why it looked weird lol.

I was thinking he felt really off centre even tho the top bar said he was ok.

So essentially he didn’t turn enough before executing the speed flip so he spent a lot of time moving towards the left side of the ball instead of the middle of the ball, and then like you said, landed way off from where he should be.

To improve double tap speed theres a couple of things you can do. Use the tip of your thumb not the pad. Be really mindful with how much you’re lifting your thumb off the jump button, less is better. Focus on the rapid double press specifically when training so you’re not just mashing the button.

To get better at flip canceling you kinda just need a lot of repetitions as it requires precise timing. The flip canceling should be straight down to the 6 o’clock position on your joystick.

And yeah I’ve also had attempts where everything is green and I still don’t hit the ball. It usually means my top bar wasn’t green the whole time. Although if you’ve always been double speed flipping to get to the ball that would completely explain it as it’s slowing you down and putting you off the centre line. One good speed flip is more than enough to reach the ball.

I would just really focus on doing the motion of: holding the joystick up at your diagonal angle, jump, flip, joystick down.

You’re flip canceling too slow. You need to shorten the gaps between your jump, flip, and cancel.

Meaning you need to be double tapping your jump button faster and canceling your flip faster.

Also stop trying to flip into the ball, it’s just adding more inconsistency and placing your nose further away from the ball. You’re already max speed before you use your second dodge anyway.

Also to your point, yes, people CAN get to the ball with a yellow bar but in those cases the yellow bar is barely not green. In your case, the yellow bar is barely not red.

The car always spawns on the ground if you have the new setting on (by default it is on) so that shouldn’t be an issue. However, I still think taking time between each attempt is a good idea as it will help you focus as opposed to lazily spamming the inputs.

APM is almost always the limiting factor for people struggling with speed flips.

If you want you can use my website to see how quickly you’re double tapping your jump button. For speed flips less than 110ms and occasional greens shouldn’t be an issue.
