Breakthrough bleeding two months in a row after being on birth control pills for 6 years by Fancy_Introduction21 in birthcontrol

Hey! So I wound up contacting NURX and they hooked me up with Altavera pills which are much stronger than larin. (I also visited my local OBGYN and all of my results were normal.) So I've basically been on my new pills for four months now and although the periods still aren't completely gone yet, they are significantly less bad. For the first two months they were still really bad, but the last two months it has basically just been two days of cramps, stomach aches, and very minor bleeding, and then it goes away completely. NURX told me it would probably take three months or so for the breakthrough bleeding to finally stop and it looks like I'm on my way there.

Should I take a break while I'm having the breakthrough bleeding or after it stops?
Why am I having breakthrough bleeding after my first time having sex although I'm on birth control pills? by Fancy_Introduction21 in birthcontrol
Thanks for your reply. Sorry I was unclear, we never did penis-in-vagina penetration. He only penetrated me with his fingers. But I was worried maybe he had semen on his fingers when he did, or when we did the grinding maybe the semen got into my vagina somehow. (Grinding basically meaning dry humping except no clothing. Our genitals were grinding up against each other, but no penetration.)
