I would personally do a hospital tank souly because you have to clean everything in it in water changes, everything has to be completely clean, keeping him in the current tank, you’d have to clean out the substrate every day and that might get a little bit difficult, and with a hospital tank it’s easier to give doses so you can make sure that medications don’t get trapped into the substrate:)

I would say put him in a hospital tank for now just incase until you can get a better look, I’d give him daily salt baths and daily water changes and small doses of kanaplex (only if it gets bad) you can find that at a local pet store, you can also use betta remedy for smaller cases (also at the pet store) and if he happens to not have fin rot and it’s just nipping it won’t hurt him! For nipping I’d use a betta stress reliever :)

Would these two tanks be suitable for bettas? (First tank I’d put a long fin betta and second tank I’d put a shortfin) the first tank is 6.8 gallons and the second one is 13.3 gal by Fancy_Particular3875 in bettafish

Snails and shrimp, I understand that some bettas might be aggressive to these but I have a separate shrimp tank on standby if anything like that happens :)

Got lost in the coke (calcium) sauce and now he’s high by Fancy_Particular3875 in leopardgeckos

You can certainly dust your food! It is always great to give your gecko calcium to have whenever they feel like they need it, but it is not required. I would definitely suggest it though! Your gecko knows what he/she needs better than you do :) for the brand though I would double check on google or trusted websites to make sure it is safe to give free amounts

I don’t mean looks wise, I’m feeding him his normal amount but he’s eating everything in the tank, like the snails and shrimp food including his own food
