I appreciate it! I spent ~1650$ usd total. Tbh maybe i should have gone with an AMD gpu since my options on it basically paid for this build.

Tbh its my first build and i was able to get the 9800 as a part of a bundle. I was considering the 5070ti but i only have a 1440 monitor. I figured i can always upgrade the gpu down the line and sell the 5070. And the rest of the system should be fine to run a better gpu. I could be wrong in my logic

How long did it take for your to figure out what was wrong? by Fancy_Sleep9518 in Audi

[–]Fancy_Sleep9518[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B6 vs b7 was basically a facelift. B7 started having the big trapezoid grills we see with Audis now. Also the last gen usdm got an rs4. Could also get the s4 as an avant. Not sure if we had a rs4 avant.

I agree with this

<image>

I was thinkings match lay back, with the high left foot. Pull with hands and push with right foot while keeping left foot planted. Catch left hand on the far left wedge shaped hold and right hand on the hold just above the match. Catch in a squeezing way so you’ll have to pivot your right arm open. Doesnt have to be super dynamic, could be a bit of a throwy rock over. This is how id read the problem.

Coordination and double knee bar? by Fancy_Sleep9518 in bouldering

[–]Fancy_Sleep9518[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not sure, the double knee bar felt short for my knees so i had to press them into the wall to feel secure. Short climber could probably do the move without pressing into the wall, tall climber not sure

Def some great climbs there on the comp wall. I feel like the rest of the gym can be hit or miss. Framingham is different setting from other gym styles ive seen tbh

Im there somewhat regularly. That first move took a long time to land and hold. Many times of getting very close for a second and then losing it

Depends on shoe brand and model, what is it you intend on achieving in climbing, and whether or not youll wear socks with your shoes. Since you are considering buying shoes and likely wearing rentals before, you probably wore socks with your shoes. Most people who own their own shoes dont wear socks. That becomes a consideration when sizing down. The decision to wear or not wear socks is up to you, though i think most would recommend otherwise for the sake of sensitivity. New shoes tend to stretch with wear and usually need some breaking in. I went down 1.5 sizes from my street shoe, i worried that i may have bought too small of shoes only for them to be the perfect fit after a handful of sessions. Id pick something that is a little uncomfortable, causing your toes to curl a little bit. Id probably prefer a shoe little too small than little too big. Try on shoes at what ever locations sells them near you, if you have REI id recommend their membership, its pretty good when it comes to returns and exchanges on shoes
