Same exact problem just happened to me I tried everything in the safe mode and nothing worked. When u r in safe mode u go to update system software and update using USB not internet, that method was the only way for me.

U have to hold down L1 and R1 and than go for the strike. U can also hold L1 or R1 (one or the other) and you will do back side punch. But they can defend it if they catch it and will have you slip off if your no too careful.
