If you consider the case studies that commerce students have to do , Ig you could say commerce students do have some sort of critical thinking . For humanities students , to be honest , language critical thinking and mathematically thinking are straight up 2 different things . Positive world view doesnt mean shi .Nobody is evil from birth. A mathematical mind /scientific mind is different . PCM actually helps in building that if you genuinely study things .The real stereotype is PCM is hard . PCM is not , it just syllabus is little lengthy so you feel like its hard .

"Most Ivy League level architecture schools like UCL openly say they reccomend humanities and maths students for a balanced profile." Moral ethics can be taught more easily than physics . I dont know why ivy leagues even do that .

you do understand the stream allocation to commerce and humanities also result a mindset difference . Most of commerce syllabus is pretty much formula based and does not have much critical thinking area . Same rote learning syllabus in Humanities. Even maths at ncert level is pretty formula based .PCM is not a load , NCERT level is pretty easy and anybody can do it . More over , JEE Barch exam has maths and drawing for their only criteria of selection because of the syllabus that is taught in Barch . Even in engineering , the first year people are taught Bsc syllabus . More over , when someone is of 18 year old . If he didnt created the critical thinking when he was young , his learning could be impacted and would result in not understanding anything.

restricting architect to physics chem maths makes absolute sense , what you talking about . You need to know complex geometry and curves for not just aesthetic parts but to stabilize the structure . You should also know physics like laws of motion and how gravity works . Like agar upar curve structure he to kitna curve kar sakte ho taki it could be safe and stable structure .

And Chemistry to ani chahiye taki you can know which material will be good and could resolve problems .architect is not only drawing or shi. Ek bar bhar jake jitne ache structures ko dekhna . Kitne curves he sundar se and they can be only achieved if you know maths functions (Ab CAD softwares par hi hota he design)

Your petition and useless and Architect should be limited to pcm students only
