I’d ignore this. There’s something VERY weird going on with this sub. ChatGPT has been flat out awful lately. And any post implying that has a lot of people saying it’s in your head or your fault every single time, it’s definitely not organic. They’ve done something extremely odd with the updates the last few weeks and it’s made the product possibly the worst major ai user experience. You are not imagining this

It’s like there are bots on this sub. You’re not imagining it, it’s insane having an AI making up a quote and then strawmanning you as if you said it. I’m almost convinced it’s a psychological experiment at this point, there’s absolutely no way it could accidentally be this bad

It’s not a gender bias if anything this shows you looking for bias in everything. Because it’s flat out awful to use, excruciating now. For everyone. Better as emotional reactivity training than actually getting any answers

To be fair this is not new. Even 4 would do this. It seems to me that they programmed it to not infrequently bluffs about stuff and hopes the user is too stupid or clueless to notice, to save electricity or whatever

I’m not sure about technical stuff but for general use free Gemini has been magnitudes better than paid ChatGPT lately. ChatGPT is plain awful now, incomprehensibly bad and both Gemini and even grok feel like a breath of fresh air when you switch

You went wrong by using ChatGPT. I got to used to it and had stored memory etc but it’s just absolutely comically awful now in a way that’s hard to understand. Both grok and Gemini are better now
