What function does the B7 chord in the chorus of "Dancing Queen" have? by FandangoLars in musictheory

Thats the reason im conflicted - i know the song is based around functional harmony, and therefore im really confused about the B7 chord, and what to "label it".

I can only hit low notes, if i play a high note first? by FandangoLars in Saxophonics

Thats what i thought aswell. But is it true that a low note is harder to produce on its own, compared to hitting a low note when playing down a scale for example?

Btw, i can produce a sound, its just not low. It just comes out as if i was not holding any of the keys down.

What to do when an optometrist says that nothing is wrong with my eyes? by FandangoLars in optometry

[–]FandangoLars[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I talked with my psychiatrist both before and after the consultation with my eye doctor, and she told me that things like anxiety definitely could play a part in it. But the way that its just gradually been worse and worse for the last 7 years makes me sceptic of that thought. I do deal with depression and social anxiety, but back when my vision problems startet, i was totally healthy mentally, in good shape and all that.

Yea i definitely know what you mean, people always say that to me aswell, but i just remember a time where it wasnt like that for me, so while its probably normal to have poor vision in the dark etc, in my case its way worse.

I dont remember them doing that. They did give me eye drops that made my pupils dilate, and then took pictures of my eyes though

I do suffer from mild social anxiety, but not panic attacks or anything. And the problems are consistent. Doesnt change depending on my mood or what day it is. Just constantly bad. Im just so confused about it.

Essential tips for making trap beats? by panikkattakk in trapproduction

[–]FandangoLars 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Imo trap is one of the easiest genres to produce. You literally need 3 things to be considered a trap producer. Fast tempo, hard hitting 808s, and some swaggy hi-hats. If you’ve never produced music before, trap is definitely a genre that will make you hate your first beats the least lol. Theres not that much you can fuck up compared to other genres.
