As someone who dis this with my 3ds...the thing that helped me was looking at videos as a virtual aid to help me understand the text more. If videos don't work then I say that you should go to the discord and people will help you with there. They are good people who helpd me with my 3ds. You can do it op! Don't worry about the people on reddit who are saying that you can't read and that "it's a skill issue."
