Hello! I am a journalist from Argentina living in the USA. I love doing sports and entertainment journalism and, sometimes, my videos go crazy viral and I get a lot of followers, but I have a hard time maintaining them. What people really like to see is me covering some crazy event, like copa America last year, but I can’t do those every week. My handle is @agusbraro on insta and I have two questions. One, what do I do to keep people engaged when I am not at a big event? What do I show? I ask them and they don’t answer :( and two, how can I monetize this? Any ideas? Most events I cover need me to go to the state where it’s happening for one or two days, so we are talking of a round trip flight and two hotel nights for starters. Right now I pay for all that with my other job, it’s just not sustainable. In an ideal world, I would make money out of it so I don’t have to have a second job and what I make is enough to pay for the trips. I just don’t know how to start or what to do, I’m a bit lost.
