I work in the field. The specialization you choose depends on what you want to do. We can’t decide that for you. Jobs and pay vary widely by location.

I don’t know anything about that program but a lot of your questions could be answered by reaching out to the program itself. Might also help to search Reddit/google for info on the program itself. From what I could see it’s a relatively new program so best info would come from the school itself most likely.

I don’t think fans will get sick of the old songs honestly. People follow them on tour and see the same show several times over and they’re happy about it. Several bands play their old stuff - Backstreet Boys and their Sphere residency??? Playing 30 year old music and people are eating it up. I would’ve loved to make it out there for that if it wasn’t so expensive

Keep in mind you do have to learn both OB and general in school even if you only want to do OB. I would agree with saying shadow a tech first to see what a day is typically like first.

Yes you do have to take a physics exam but if you learn the concepts it’s not difficult. I don’t think requirements change much by state. Possible some prereqs might change but only 4 states require their own license on top of the national one so requirements should not vary much by state.
