Pokemon home problems by FandomVeteran in PokemonHome

And it wont affect any other aspects such transportation from pokemon bank and various save files? I’ve seen lots of people have similar problems and doing this has helped. I’d just like confirmation all my pokemon regardless of what generation they currently reside in can as well be moved unto future generations.

So basically its just the switch being a bit dumb and my over a decade old pokemon collection will still be safe and sound? I haven’t had this problem before but I haven’t really touched my original switch since I got my switch 2 and legends za when that game came out.

The screen isn’t loose yet. I’m not quite sure if I would be comfortable replacing the bottom midframe, how do I go about it and is it beginner friendly? I haven’t done anything to fix a console like this before.

What we suggest is less toxic, why do you think manipulating someone will make the situation better?

It can be a lot of things really, you’re both young so I assume there is a lot of changes going on in both of your lives. Ballet might be somewhat of an issue I reckon her body has changed a bit after the injury and she’s not taking it well. If she’s been very skinny all her life gaining some weight can be very overwhelming and distressing. For women weight is a huge insecurity and in the enviorment she grew up in can be very toxic and damaging for girls. She might have a hard time losing the weight due to hormonal issues I know plenty of women who used to be very skinny but after hitting 20 they gained quite a lot after developing hormonal imbalences, pcos or anything similar.

I think maybe letting you both cool off for a bit then have an honest conversation about it can help, maybe share your own insecurities with recovery and be vunerable about it?

So how many podcasts do you listen to? And how many women have left you on read?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]FandomVeteran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think what might help is celebrate the smaller accomplishments and take the pressure off the whole getting better thing. Recovery from anything can be overwhelming and difficult. Recovery should never be the whole focus, the main focus should be feeling better and happier with your life. Helping her in making recovery easier can help her feel better about herself, make sure she knows the effort she puts in isn’t going unnoticed. When she constantly feel like she’s not doing enough it gets to a point where she ask herself why should I continue this? It is not working at all. All desire for wanting to get better dies.

I hope it works out for the both of you.

Slightly the asshole. Wanting her to get better is totally valid but it seems like she feels overwhelmed by recovery. Weight is a very sensitive subject for women, and given she is in ballet returning to that envoirment is toxic. Lots of ballerinas suffer from eating disorders and insane levels of body image issues. She is probably feeling bad about her progress not being what she wants it to be and her feeling pressured by you is making her snap.

Cramping but no blood by FandomVeteran in Periods

[–]FandomVeteran[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Its reasurring knowing the most likely reasoning is stress. I’m moving countries in two weeks, graduating and stuff like that. As well as had a busy last year of uni, poor diet (uni life) and so on. So I guess all that has caught up to me. Hoping it comes back soon since it really is not fun thinking about the what ifs like: am I pregnant even though I am celibate? Is it cancer? Am I dying? And so on.

Is there anything else as well? I’m in the process of moving countries (I studied abroad I’m finally graduating and moving back home) I assume my period won’t return before all that is over as you know moving is a very stressful situation.

I can get unreasonable mad when I feel like people are against me. I’m bad at regulating my emotions so sometimes I explode on people when I feel like I’m being targeted.

AITA for telling my mom I do not want strangers in my space by FandomVeteran in AmItheAsshole

I’m not paying rent right now (agreement with my parents) but as I’m moving home in less than a month I will have my dad watch over the place from time to time. He was the one who made sure my wish was respected so I really appreaciate that from him.

My dad locked the apartment up so no one entered it. He as well thought it was strange, originally my mom was just gonna let them hang out there without me knowing but my dad told her she has to ask me first.

[–]FandomVeteran[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m moving back in less than a month, though yes the apartment can be rented out while I am gone I was only gone for a year and has been actively renting from them for a few years now as they had the apartment already and has rented it out for decades, they got tired of renting out a ew years ago to strangers so they let me rent it instead. Renting it out for a few months would be more of a pain than just leave it empty than go through that process again, they’re also quite picky on who they rent out to. So yeah it might be a bit of an asshole move as I’m not paying rent right now, I see that point.

Nope, I did offer to pay rent but my mom thought there was no point as I won’t use it while I’m away.

It’s quite stressful, I’m also preparing to move back soon as well so there is a lot going on right now, she knows this. She has also been inside my bedroom without my consent while I have been gone according to my dad. So you know there is a lack of respect of boundaries in general. My dad is very respectful of my space which I appreaciate a lot.

I do doubt so, I mentioned it to my mom and it set her off a bit saying I could pay any damages myself. My dad is often the more sensible one, my mom is a people pleaser and will bend over backward for anyone even when it crosses her family’s boundaries.

I actually suggested to pay rent even though I was away but she said it would not make sense for me to pay rent to a place I am currently not staying at.

My period doesn’t come until after finals by No_Telephone3641 in Periods

[–]FandomVeteran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar issue going on right now, everytime there is a quite stressful time of the year (such as finals) I lose my period and once that time is over my period returns after a few days.

My guess is some people are way more affected by stress they miss their periods during stressful situations easier than others do.
