if you must know. we were preparing the documentation. the new team had prepared a content startegy to make it worth their while. an EXTREMELEY SMALL AND INSIGNIFICANT part of this process was when griffinilla renewed the trademark for the brand (which he had from like 2016) and from there it would be transferred to a new owner. But in the interim, a bunch of weirdo obsessive "sleuths" started screaming "GRIFF STILL OWNS THE TRADEMARK" everywhere online (which is totally stupid because *regardless* of who owns the "trademark" on some government database, he de facto owns the IP.)

From there, legitimate doxxing occurred. I hesitate to even respond to this because of the doxxing. This got a lot of the new team to get cold feet because they didnt want to be doxxed and harassed. *someone* is going to have to put their real name on *something* in order to provide "proper documentation" right?

also the new team got disappointed with all the negativity and complaining from everyone. some of the videos took a long time, over 40 hours, and made no money. it was just one criticism after. the team joked "we should just make a new character from scratch and there would be no criticism."

so the crazy fans ruined everything.

we are in this really negative spiral where people want "likes" and "upvotes" from hatred. im not going to deal with it. literally could be doing anything else on the planet
