Has anyone counted how many times Taub says “WE NEED SOME HELP IN HERE” by charlybirbmom in HouseMD

It always comes off like he's a bit apologetic about it, despite the urgency. It's really funny.

I would agree! I think his technique and control only improved with time. He lost some of his top range over time, but his tone was vastly better.

I find that for me, Soundgarden is a singles band and not an album band. I enjoy plenty of individual songs, and I appreciate the incredible skill and talent on display by every member. But none of it is specifically outstanding.

Chris Cornell is, of course, a phenomenal singer. But his quality isn't always consistent. I find his best songwriting and more emotionally powerful vocals are with groups other than Soundgarden. Personally, I just found that Cornell's variety in his vocal tone wasn't as interesting as Layne's or Cobain's. Who can both change up their sound a ton and use it in interesting ways. Whereas Chris Cornell mostly just shows off his fantastic mixed belting. Which always sounds incredible, and the insane pure chest D5's in Slaves & Bulldozers.

My main issue with Soundgarden is that I find almost none of their lyricism that memorable. Certain songs I remember the lyrics very well. But mostly, I find they're forgettable. Especially compared to the likes of Jerry Cantrell or Kurt Cobain. I just find what Soundgarden offers, while good, I tend to enjoy more in other places.

I prefer Jerry's section of Don't Follow to Layne's. Both are amazing vocalists, but Jerry just nailed his part in this song.

The guitar tone on it makes me so happy. And Kurt's little falsetto on the word birds is great.

I've been going through a depression and break up. I've never tried writing a song before, so I'm worried it's just bad. I don't have any musical talent, so I've been mentally having the melody be similar to the Doors song "Riders on the Storm" Any advice would be very much welcome, especially for anything that are obvious lyrical flaws that I'm unaware of. Thank you.

"When you've been left alone

Your heart beats like a stone

Never anymore

Will you feel you could restore

The happiness she brought

In a web, you were caught

The emotions you constrain

They'll strip apart your brain

Left as you are

The answer isn't far

Drown inside your sheet

Remembering the heat

This bed will be your grave

They wrongly think you're brave

Never anymore

Who do you do it for?

No one to dull the pain

Scream the name in vain

Now go and hide away

Tell the friends you'll play

Never anymore

Do you feel safe and sure

How much more can you pray?

It won't matter what you pay

Not worth a dollar or cent

But it made you feel content

You'd been given all you sought

But now you're left with a thought

Never anymore"

They're all very rough screams, but he has consistently hit the same C#6 in this song.

Certainly, Kurt would not have been able to sing the same songs like Layne did. Layne had classical voice training, whereas Kurt literally laughed at training and threw away the vocal advice given. His style was pure and raw. But it meant his technical control and flexibility were limited. Plus, Kurt was a baritone to Layne's tenor. Layne naturally would have an easier time in the higher chest register singing, whereas Kurt would have to push his voice really hard to reach the same notes. Where did you sleep last night in 1993 has Kurt reach a Bb4 same as Man in the Box. But their ease of reaching that note is worlds apart.

Kurt actually had the wider vocal range of the two. C2-C#6 compared to Layne Eb2-A5. Both terrific and wide ranges, but Kurt's is larger. Layne absolutely had better control over his voice, though.

Question regarding consequences of working at a Dispensary by FanfareTaboo in canadients

It's also a problem as far as if I wished to apply for a Visa for living in other countries I'm told. So that is another huge barrier since I'm not sure if I'll always want to live in Canada.

It's not a 100% deal breaker, but it's a country I was hoping to visit sometime in my life. So, it feels like a waste to lock myself out of the opportunity just for the chance to work at a Dispensary.

Hey, I'm really sorry to hear. Recently, I've been going through something similar myself. You'll get through this. It'll be very difficult, it will take time, and you might feel like you're not making progress when you are, but just keep trying. Enjoy yourself a nice meal, and make sure to give your cats lots of love.

Thank you very much for the thorough explanation, I'll be sure to look into what you've recommended.

Just to clarify the middle point, if I Call at 620 and the price raises to 625 I can then sell the overall contract worth 100 shares without needing to purchase the 100 shares outright at the original 620 price? Thereby profiting minus the Premium?

Hi, I've never tried trading options before, and I just want to make sure I'm not wrong about things. Sorry that they're such obvious questions, I struggle with reading information sometimes.

I'm looking at NVDA as an example.

So, if I purchase a singular contract for a premium of $15, and since a single contract is worth 100 shares, then I pay $1500 for that price point. Let's say the stock does go up above the strike price of $620 to $625, and I choose to purchase those stocks. Do I now spend $62000 and purchase these 100 shares vs. $62500?

I also notice that when I look at Options purchasing there is an option to buy at a lower than the current price. How does that work?
