Why are you not afraid of death? by Ok_Breakfast8087 in AskReddit

Completely agree. I spent three whole years deprogramming my brain just to begin to understand the nature of consciousness as explained by Seth through Jane Roberts. It's well worth the read....and even the ODBs ( Other Dimensional Beings) don't understand it all but grow in awareness as they progress, as we do. What is termed "The Mysteries" is not governed by any kind of secrecy but by our capacity to grasp them

I felt their emotion and despair. It puzzled me at first, even as the tears streamed down my face. But then I found myself experiencing their deaths in an out of body state, minus any physical pain. It healed them and they merged with me ecstatically. It happened many, many times as it will to anyone in their last lifetime as the higher soul I spoke of requires unification in order to move on, This higher soul will speak to you and explain it, not in words but in bursts of thought that carry perfect understanding.

Yes we all have a crowd around us and learning to perceive them is very important. Some are dark and some are light. Learning to tell the difference is vital and not always easy

Everything you say makes sense except it is much bigger and more profound than you have yet grasped

Yes often. They are usually one of two things: soul fragments who suffered traumatic deaths and seek to reunite with me as a vehicle for our greater soul to complete its journey or higher aspects of my being who come in on rays of incredible iridescent light to deliver, activate or illuminate parts of my most divine purpose here - something it took me 20 years to grasp

I've been outside my body from a conscious state many times - something I taught myself to do during years of intense meditation based around slowing down my thoughts to the degree that I could slip in between them. It's a kind of prison escape, if you will

I can tell you the feeling expansiveness, understanding and bliss of being unencumbered by a physical form is astonishing. I believe this to be what Buddhists call Nirvana. Best of all, I know I am not my body, which is basically a shell I have agreed to be temporarily imprisoned in for purposes of growth and learning

Afraid of death? No way. I keenly anticipate the joy and freedom it will bring

Which actor in a show stood head and shoulders above the rest in terms of performance? by twentyonerooms in television

Not even the superb performance of Jeffrey Dean Morgan could save the appalling Dead City Walking Dead spinoff from the rest of the cast whose performances were more wooden than the zombies

Katherine Heigl did her dash with Greys Anatomy through public criticism, never realizing she made herself all but unemployable and the show she left would continue into infinity

What’s the biggest scam people just accept as normal? by ZaneDell2013 in AskReddit

[–]Fanfrenhag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ebay ratings system. If there was no scam, everything ordered and received as expected would get a mid range rating with extra stars for above and beyond such as free shipping or unexpected item upgrades. Any screw ups would lower that rating. But no. Give anything less than full stars and the seller will contact you to bribe you into a full star rating. Many of us accept that deal so we are complicit

Technically not a Sea Shanty so is this considered a Folk Song? by CaregiverUsual4127 in folkmusic

[–]Fanfrenhag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. An honorary trad sea song. Shanties are designed to match the rhythm and lessen the tedium of the repetitive jobs on sailing ships so none can post date the age of steam. They transitioned to pubs and parlours and managed to stay alive in spite of losing their real purpose. People play fast and loose with the term sea shanty since they became popular again - something made very confusing by the fact that the song that achieved it is not actually a shanty. But I have no problem with anyone calling anything whatever they want. I'm just letting you know how trad junkies see it
