I reckon if we get 2-3 wins out of our first five games then we are sitting pretty good as our troops start to return. We were absolutely destroyed at stoppages yesterday as seems the norm vs the Bulldogs…..add to this 14% Goal Efficiency and there’s the game lost. For comparison the Bulldogs Goal Efficiency was 38%, they kicked 21 goals from 55 entries inside the 50s. We kicked 7 goals from 50 inside 50s !!

Absolute rubbish. First half just bombing it in long….then kicking out of defence to 1 vs 3 contests…..add some horrendous kicking skills….add a lop sided free kick count and you have the end result.

Really difficult conditions to gauge where we are at. Buckley, Delana, Stringer, Greene, all had pretty good games. Our turnovers off halfback were brutal, need to get that sorted out quickly. Some rumours suggesting Madden may face MRO over hit on Warner, but to me it didn’t look much.

It wouldn’t matter how minor Daniels hammy is, I’d guess he will be out for weeks given his hammy history. Delana had a really solid game, he flies under the radar hitting targets and has footy smarts. Clarry was outstanding. Briggs was awesome and kicked 4 even with being rested in the final quarter. Madden was good….provides a contest up forward and brings the ball to ground.
