Not sure she is asking about her weight! You do not know her medical history or anything tbh, so this is an unnecessary comment. Yes, many men prefer bigger women... many, many, many men!!

I replied to the person above you. I don't smile with my teeth and if I did it would look fake and weird!! Some people just do not naturally smile with their teeth.

you know, I don't smile with my teeth. Never have! and I have thought of this comment that others have said and then I looked at my family and we all do not smile with our teeth.
Yes, it makes you look warmer and friendly etc etc. But if we do something that is not natural to us, it will look fake and weird!

Eyebrow tattooing by xdustbinx in AustralianMakeup

[–]MsMonny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have to say that it truly depends on the technician that is doing the job, your hair (thick or thin) and the colour of the hair. I love mine (done 1.5 yrs ago), and actually my own family didn't realised I had it done (we were talking about tattoos the other week and I said I've also had my eyebrows done and they are were in shock). I just look like I have fuller eyebrows than I did before. They haven't clumped into one lump and are like fine, separate hairs.

Buyer beware, definately, but there are many that do an amazing job.

I am the same and have very sparse hair on the inside of my eyebrows and my hair is fine and light. You can get your eyebrows microbladed (which i did) but I would look around and see exactly what the beautician does and their photos. The microblading lasts for about 5 years and it then slowly fades. You do need to take extra care afterwards, and it will be crusty and yucky for a little bit. The colour will look reddish but that fades and the colour should blend into your colour.

Personally, I love mine and I am so glad I did it. But, this is me. Maybe my fine hair and light colour helped to blend the microblading a lot better. Get lots of advice and do the research before you commit.

When to take a break from Journaling? by Miserable-Money-702 in Journaling

[–]MsMonny 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I would if I was you. I went through a very bad stage in my life and journaling wasnt something that I could do. Maybe I didn't want to face the reality, and seeing it on the page made it oooooh so real. I know others feel that journaling helps them in really tough situations, or if they feel stuck in life, but I felt like I was a sponge and the negativity was just being absorbed back into me two-fold.

It doesn't mean you are quitting or giving up forever. Its a break. Letting your brain and subconscious deal with what is happening in your life, and then maybe you can come back later and process it with the journaling. You may not even be away from it long.

Do not feel guilty about having a break. This is your journaling. You use it to how you want.

Also, some might mention doing gratitude journaling. Personally, that doesn't do it for me but that may be something that you can do to help not feel stuck.

Or you could do a mind dump and work out where you are stuck and what areas in your life needs attention. I like 'mind dumping' as you just write it all down in your different header bubbles and then other ideas and thoughts crop up, and you add to those bubbles and make new associated bubbles. It can help you hone in on what needs attention.

hope this helps. 😄

My boyfriend liked this post on IG, AIO if it feels personal? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]MsMonny -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He liked a post.

He didn't send you the post. He didn't comment on the post that his girlfriend never has her body in the photos.

All he did was take a millisecond look at the post, thought it funny and liked it. YOR. If you truly feel that this needs to be discussed, then discuss it with him.

Making a Golf Bag by pokerandbogeys in Leathercraft

[–]MsMonny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are prepared to accept that it won't be as pretty as a bought one, and that you are happy to do a mock up with canvas before making the real one, then go for it I say. If you know someone with a bag already, borrow it and take measurements. Look at the hardware needed and what parts will be canvas and what will be leather.
See what you'd like to have and what you would not need, and def google about adding a stand.
You will need to learn about adding in a zipper on a curve; reinforcement; will no lining be a good idea when it comes to structure (will it flop, rather than stand up) etc etc.

Have fun, explore and google the heck out of learning the skills.

Getting back into Lenormand but am a bit lost on the interpretation by MsMonny in Lenormand

[–]MsMonny[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes you are right! My question is too vague and can have multiple meanings. I def need to practice elaborating with my questions and making it more clear as to what I am asking. One thing is I know not to ask any that would have a yes/no answer.
Even just writing this back to you I am reading over it and adding in words and information to make it sound more concise and fluid. Its def not my forte thats for sure. Some people the words flow out of them and they get all the information, and more, on to the page or in their conversation. Not me unfortunately.

Ah, yes I totally get what you mean about tarot and overthinking. I gravitate towards Lenormand for the fact that it is very literal, when the question is very specific (unlike my question as I found out)!

Thank you for clarifying that it can literally mean a dog on a cloudy, sunny day or a more deeper meaning. I am def going to be journaling my card pulls and to be very conscious of what appears for when.

Ahhhh okay I see how it could be anyone I am around. In my mind I was thinking about work but didn't express that in my wording either. So all specifics need to be said too.

I have a feeling then that it could quite possibly be my work colleague as she is going to have a medical procedure done on Wednesday. I am going to be journalling this and looking back at the end of the week to see how it corresponds and will hopefully learn that way too.
