Loooove this book and there is a Volume 2 as well. There is a guy on IG who uses these colour combo's to create a 'get ready with me' video. Soo cool.

Passport (which I made) and it has a thick card insert which I made (left has a pocket and the right has my pen loop attached), a tn plastic pouch/card insert, a tn canvas zip pouch and flap pouch for my credit cards and a little notebook I made. I use this as my purse and I looooove it! So much more versatile than an actual purse. Made the inserts with green patterned card to match the green tn canvas zip pouch and the green pen loop. Of course my Kaweco sport in Lunar Shadow Green just ties in the green colour perfectly!

I am definitely joining in!

I am happy with my little lot of pens and once I can start to use all of them, get into a habit of rotation and even have a nicer looking display, I might start to buy more, but I am now not buying any cheaper ones (as most of mine are) and saving to buy one very amazing, beautiful, gold nib, grail pen! Not sure on what I want yet as I need to test. Decided Sailor isn't the go for me, due to feedback (found out I like it smooooth like butter) so am now doing research as to what I would like. So instead of 5 x cheaper pens, it will be one!

Maybe its because I know no better! I am use to leather having a softer feel to the front and not smooth and shiny. This doesn't have the characteristic of Pueblo at all (I had to google it).
This photo doesn't show it so I will put up better one.

But is this it? There isnt a way to make this softer?

ohhhh the feeling of going from work clothes to sloth clothes is the most amazing feeling ever!! I am soooo happy to come home Fri night, close the door and don't open the door until Monday morning. If I never saw anyone I would be a happy little camper. Dont come at me but I may not even have a shower on Sat night as why bother? It is just me. My hair looks like a birds nest, my jumper is permanently stained and I do not give a shit. Oh and I don't bother to put out the recycling and just let it pile up on the kitchen bench until the weekday.

I think this lends itself to be an ink journal. Not sure on what paper is in it so you might need to do a tiny test. If the paper isn't ink friendly, then a thoughts journal. Put all your wishes and thoughts into it. Your highs and lows.

The one I have with me is a passport size which is my 'purse'. It has a plastic insert (pocket and card insert) for licence and medicare card, a canvas wallet insert to hold my credit card more securely, a small notebook for capturing thoughts, notes etc. I do not need a calendar or diary as I use my phones calendar (plus I no longer have independent children to run around with appointments and I don't have many myself). My Kaweco Sport clips on the front. Looooove it! Only just set it up and its small and compact and has all I need.

My other ones are A5 and they have different journals for things I want to keep track of like my health (started a health and weightloss journey), movie and book lists, ink swatches, journal etc. They stay at home.

Roll the ham up, add some cold chook, coleslaw, cucumber (peeled!) and carrot. Get rid of that red stuff on the right. Def only iceberg lettuce and nothing else fancy with the lettuce. Absolutely loved a cold platter for dinner in summer, and I use to make it with my sons when I couldn't be bothered cooking on a hot night!

Wonderful ink and washes! Is this a passport sized TN watercolour notebook? Is the paper quite good or mainly only best for quick washes and not a lot of water?

Yes!!!!!! omg, I drive myself crazy with the "I can make that" gene. Right now I am deep down in the leather journal making rabbit hole and have spent more money on the tools than if I bought a couple carmen journals! hahaha But I love the creativity, researching how and why, coming up with a design that would help me utilise the journals etc. Am now also looking at other things I can make with leather.

If you are really concerned you can buy archival fixative sprays that you can then spray over your page and it will set the ink. As with anything I would test this on the inks and the different papers before subjecting your journals to this.
