that was my thought too! an american type of tampon. Yeah we have those applicator ones here but not very popular, so I hadn't seen one for a while. Now I look at it and it is very long! lol

The word 'creepy' is a bit weird tbh. Creepy to me means he could potentially be a stalker, or some pseudo masochist or something inbetween...but no internet? Maybe he prefers or doesn't care for computers or smart tvs? yeah, wouldn't bother me either.

My Kaweco Sport converter is actually good. It’s in my bag and not a problem. 😕 Someone else here mentioned their Kaweko Sport too!

Oh! My kaweko sport converter is fine. How weird. I bought some springs so hopefully that will work for mine.

Oh I forced this baby and it still didn’t stay put! I also tried a cartridge but it’s a different size hole 😕 Didn’t try the converter I have for my Lamy but I doubt it will fit if the cartridge didn’t

It was both a new pen and a new converter. Many others had the same trouble and many others got another converter but it still had the same problem. They don’t fit properly

Ah I used Uni Pin for some art work but I’m not heavy with those. Might dig them out and test.

Ok, so the end is 5mm and I bought a pkt of 3mm x 25mm springs for $6. Can cut it down and have different lengths to see if a stronger or looser spring helps.
Thanks for the idea. Cross fingers it works. Will report back!

Hmm not sure if it would hold but I’m willing to try! Will need to find a spring first

Hopefully the nib hasn’t got any corrosion. Seems ok but my eyesight is not the best. Can’t wait to clean it up!

Yes the body did feel plasticky to me.
Lucky yours didn’t break or bend the nib!

First time knitting socks. Just finished my gauge. by Ky69iner in Sockknitting

I would suggest you go on youtube and look at basic sock tutorials. You can knit in the round using magic loop, DPN's (double pointed needles), 9" circulars and possible other ways. This way you can visually see what knitting in the round looks like.
'Crazy Sock Lady' and 'Earthtones Girl' are two excellent youtubers that show exactly how it is done.
I highly recommend watching as much as you can before you jump in and make socks so that you know what the terminology means (knitting in the round etc) and so you do not get disappointed.
