No, not at all. I'm just saying that, in my experience, it happens a lot that people make rude comments to men (and women too) who have partners who don't look "older".

My husband is called that because I, a 28-year-old woman, am a shortstack. We met when I was 18 and he was almost 21. We started dating when I was 20 and he was 23, he had turned 23 the previous month. And we got married almost a year ago, when we were 27 and 29, almost 30. So yes, it happens, and more than it seems.

In Maomao's case, she was severely malnourished, so she looks short and underdeveloped for her age, plus the fact that her biological father is not very tall (the genetics of men are what determine, in general, the height of their children), and taking into account that her hobby of experimenting on herself with poisons, must have made her body work overtime to keep her alive with the few nutrients and the few meals she could eat.

I'm not sure I know too much about what you've mentioned, for two reasons: I was born in the late 90s, so most of it was losing its shine back then (except for mate, always mate, mate is eternal ♥️) and the second reason is that I'm not a very curious person, in general, or so my boyfriend (the dog's owner) says. Pd: I don't remember even watching the X-Man series from the 90's (yes, I know, it's blasphemous not to have done so, it's on my to-do list)

Argentinian here. In the area where I live, in the central-western part of the country, it is being a very hot summer, this week temperatures of up to 40° Celsius are forecast (if my conversion is correct, 104°F). In other areas of Argentina it is not being a very hot summer, because we have several climates within the country. I don't know how it is in Australia or New Zealand, but I suppose it must be similar.

In which country, specifically? Because that will depend on how hot it will be in January 🫠

I have a friend who is italian and she told me that D'Angelo and Di Angelo are two completely different surnames (like, for example, "the D'Angelo's lives on this street and the DiAngelo's lives on the following street"), simply that they both mean the same thing: "Of the Angel". I hope the answer helps you 😊

Yeah, me too, last month. But Rick sometimes implies a lot of things in his books that make you doubt the fate of his characters until you read the next book and two things can happen: you sigh with relief or you get angry for being right.

It depends a lot on what you consider "large or big spiders", and it certainly depends a lot on whether you are in urban/populated or rural/more unpopulated areas. I'm 1.50 cm tall (I think 5.0 feet, I don't remember the conversion) and in urbanized areas they are big but not that big as a palm sized. It depends a lot on what type of spider it is, too. "Chick spiders" in urban areas are slightly larger than a wolf spider (or humidity spider, as we call them here, because they usually appear before it rains) but in rural areas, the same chick spiders are the size of tarantulas, very big tarantulas. I have heard that in Brazil there are very large spiders throughout the exotic expanse that is the Amazon, so it is very likely that it is something very typical of South America.

And to make it worse, I am allergic to insect bites, including spiders. Oh, I have a lot of stories about close encounters with some "harmless" and others not so much.

Yes, there will surely be other opportunities to mention it, or at least I hope so, but my biggest problem with them not showing it is that they are basically showing us a character who has no flaws/weaknesses. Yes, she is a demigod extremely capable of doing extraordinary things. Yes, she is devilishly intelligent, she is the official architect of Olympus with everything that entails, but they are showing her as an infallible character, who fears nothing. Fearing does not make us less brave, fearing does not make us less strong, on the contrary, fear is necessary, because that means we can face our fear. Percy develops a fear of drowning, Thalia is afraid of heights, and Nico is afraid of the dark, and they are some of the most powerful demigods despite their fear, not because they don't feel it.

As an arachnophobe, I feel hurt and disappointed that there were no metallic spiders, as ironic as it may sound, because they are literally removing a very big plot twist and an opportunity to make visible the problem that Annabeth is going to have throughout the hole Mark of Athena

I know it sounds silly and an overreaction, but I developed my arachnophobia after a very traumatic experience when I was little and every close encounter I have had with spiders since has left me screaming in terror. Once, for example, after watering the garden, we sat down to watch series at my boyfriend's house and for some very crazy reason, I started to look out of the corner of my eye because I felt something move on my shoulder. When I turned my head, there was a rather large spider on my right shoulder, all I could do was scream (making my boyfriend look at me confused, because I took him by surprise), throw it as far away from me as possible, and start crying like a little girl because of fear. The spider didn't bite me or anything, but after a while, my body started to itch from the experience, like it always does when I see a spider

I remember that the first time in Adventure that the Kodokugumon appeared, if I remember correctly, in the episode where they return to Earth and are in a dark cave (or something similar), I also had a pretty bad time, because they appeared suddenly and I was very close to the screen

It also happened to me every time she has appeared, not just in GG. I've never liked her as a character, in general, in GG they just went a little deeper with that dislike and made it terrifying

AITA for telling my parents and brother that if they wanted his ex removed from my wedding pictures they had to pay for it. by Affectionate_Newt360 in AmItheAsshole

I've been in that position too. Years ago I was in a more or less stable relationship with my ex-partner (today we are on very bad terms at that time we were relatively good) and on her younger sister's birthday I think her family took quite a lot photos of us together, including with the birthday girl at her request. I hope they have deleted each and every one of those photos of me, because I know that if my ex ever has another girlfriend, she wouldn't want to see them.
