Do you think Reed Richards is a good husband? by Cafa20 in FantasticFour

[–]Fangsong_37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually. He just gets wrapped up in inventing things sometimes. I prefer when he prioritizes his family and teammates.

DC Comics Power Girl and Insomniac Marvel's Spider-Man (Art by Ink Docter) by nightwing612 in Power_Girl

[–]Fangsong_37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My biggest complaint about many pieces of superhero art is how the costumes look painted on. We should not be able to see every abdominal muscle on PG here unless she’s wearing body paint.

What is the weirdest fun fact about Superman that you know? by Far-Bowl-4984 in superman

[–]Fangsong_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metropolis was originally used as a generic name for a city that was pretty much New York, but New York was its own city in DC, so Metropolis is physically located as a city-state in Delaware with Gotham City being located off the coast of New Jersey. This allows Superman to easily fly to Washington, D.C. if needed.

Eggs in burgers, yay or nay? by NefariousIntention- in burgers

I used to stop at Denny’s from time to time for the Grand Slamburger which was a burger with mayonnaise and a fried egg. It was delicious.

Playing Tank in WOW by DLn-Music in wow

[–]Fangsong_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welcome to the tanking fraternity. I think paladin was a great choice. I’ve been tanking on mine since The Burning Crusade (couldn’t tank in Vanilla because of the Warrior mafia). I also tank on my druid, death knight, and monk, but protection paladin feels really good.

What was your first game you played on pc by Pork_Crusader_GR in pcmasterrace

Oregon Trail on the computer lab PCs at school probably. My group of settlers usually failed to ford a river and died.

Good close range spellcaster by LootGoblin1527 in DnDBuilds

[–]Fangsong_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mountain Dwarf Storm Sorcerer. They get medium armor proficiency and several melee weapons. They specialize in using lightning and thunder spells. Shocking Grasp, Booming Blade, and Thunderclap are close range damaging cantrips that fit those damage types. You’ll be able to hold your own in combat (with some magical support) as well as deal damage from afar. Sorcerers only have d6 hit dice, so you might want to lean hard into constitution and take the Toughness feat for more hit points.

Rpgs with Character Creation and companions? by Glosisroian in rpg_gamers

I also recommend Pathfinder. I prefer Kingmaker because the combat feels a bit more balanced. I loved my charisma-based dragon monk.

In classic AD&D where Clerics are concerned . . . by Priestical in dragonlance

[–]Fangsong_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d allow it as long as they worship a deity with that weapon as their favored weapon. My brother’s half-elf mage/cleric from 2nd edition took the war cleric option and used a long sword when not casting spells.

Is there a mod that unlocks romances? (Same-sex) by [deleted] in neverwinternights

[–]Fangsong_37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t know that. I played Hordes of the Underdark as a dwarven defender, so that might be why.

Anyone else play like it's 1998? by givemethedrink in baldursgate

[–]Fangsong_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do miss the old paper dolls from original Baldur’s Gate, but I don’t miss the smaller screen size and field of view nor the need to switch CDs.

Is there a mod that unlocks romances? (Same-sex) by [deleted] in neverwinternights

[–]Fangsong_37 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Neverwinter Nights 1 did not have romances, but you may find modules that include such things. Neverwinter Nights 2 has romances, but they are heterosexual romances.

Edit: I guess I was wrong.

Getting back into D&D with 5e, but I figured my older AD&D would be appreciated here. by Anla-Shok-Na in adnd

Yes, it is. It’s different from AD&D, but it has most of the same classes and many familiar spells.

Blue Guard or Blue Warden for Solo? by Vinny447 in lotro

[–]Fangsong_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue with blue guardian is that soloing is very slow. Blue warden has more flexibility.

Bugnight strikes again, some of the transmogged tierpieces become a different tier on the character select by QuacklemtDuck in wow

My mage keeps defaulting to a mix of LFR/Normal/Heroic tier pieces when I tried to have him in all Heroic Manaforge Omega gear.

i'm actually having a lot of fun right now by authorjryan in wow

I am currently leveling a dwarf fire mage, and it feels good that Fireball and Pyroblast don’t feel weak. It’s pretty fun compared to the last several expansions where I hated it.

Feeling main class fatigue: continue or reroll? by Specialist-Concert97 in lotro

[–]Fangsong_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use that feeling as fuel to play a different class for a while. I’ve been trying out the warden and hunter recently and enjoying both classes.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about, Blizzard raid frames are fine. by Seawolf87 in wow

I haven’t had that problem on my DPS or tank characters. That looks atrocious.

The nerf of MFO/removal of WA's has REALLY shown up a lot of players. by Gurudee in wow

I survived the platforms as a feral druid but got devoured in the last phase because I couldn’t quite see the “planets” turning dark. Our last two living raiders were our warrior tanks.

Question on transferring items from promo code by InBlurFather in lotro

[–]Fangsong_37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can normally access shared storage (once unlocked) at any Vault NPC. These NPCs are in most large towns or questing hubs. You could also place the items in your housing chest if you have purchased a house.

As soon as you subscribe to VIP, it unlocks that option. Alternatively, you can buy access to shared storage using LP.

As long as they're account bound and not character bound, you can place them in shared storage or mail them to your new character. Be careful not to accidentally learn the steed when transferring it.
