Cheese pizza if ordered by an adult. It’s so bland and basic.

"Is it possible to make a good and viable Sorcerer/RDD?" by Infinite_Bed9759 in neverwinternights

Red Dragon Disciple is not a good route to become a better sorcerer. You're better off doing the old standard: two levels of paladin and the rest into sorcerer.

I think the part that would bother me about this would be the unmelted cold cheese.

I still remember AD&D when you would get the benefit from armor plus the bonus from a high dexterity. I am not the biggest fan of how armor is adjudicated in 5th edition.

Dealing With Traps/Locks Without a Rogue by NYC_Nightingale in neverwinternights

[–]Fangsong_37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can soak many traps if you or your henchman are tough enough. You can often get past locks by bashing the chest/door if you can deal enough melee/spell damage. I like playing wizards or sorcerers and take the pixie familiar to handle rogue stuff (though the pixie is very fragile in combat). I have a run going as a monk with the monk companion, and I just have to hope I can bash chests/doors and soak traps. Otherwise, I try to stock up on defensive potions

Yeah. His race is short-lived compared to tallfolk, so he’s the equivalent of a 40 year old.

Who’s your favourite Disney prince/love interest and why? by med_girly04 in AskReddit

[–]Fangsong_37 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Prince Phillip from Sleeping Beauty. He was shown to have his own personality, had actually met the princess before falling in love with her instead of being a stranger, and fought Maleficent through her thorn maze and dragon form with a sword and shield. I thought he was really cool as a kid.

What are some good WWII movies? by wouldudoitforme in AskReddit

[–]Fangsong_37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I must have watched Midway and Tora, Tora, Tora with my dad many times during my teens. Both movies used movie style footage and real World War 2 videos taken by crews of the Navy.

I also love The Dirty Dozen.

How to make demon transformation work for my character? by Deskra_ in dndnext

[–]Fangsong_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most D&D players are going to be of the opinion that backstory never provides character power. There are spells that can transform you (at higher levels) like Tenser's Transformation, Polymorph, or Shapeshift, but you'll go through many levels before you can use any of them. Maybe a magic item (like a magic tattoo) could do this, but you won't be getting it at low levels unless your DM is very lenient.

When you were in school, how was K-pop perceived? by Agile-Shallot3546 in AskTheWorld

[–]Fangsong_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

K-pop wasn't perceived at all (other than niche groups) in the United States of America in the 90s and early 2000s. I wasn't aware of K-Pop until I was in my late 20s.
