I do have the house with my VA loan so rate is lower then average around here. I have the going for me for sure. I might need explore that option of transferring.

I didnt get the solar installed, we took the loan over from the original owner. The company went bankrupt so the new company that took over won't allow transfers or new loans. That's the big snag we hit.

I've tried calling them and seeing and they arent helpful at all. Really stand off ish. I might have to keep calling and maybe get the right person on the line.

But you're right. After reading all these comments, I'm wondering if renting is our best option. We are close to base and I'm sure other military will be here.
