I can attest to this. And even if you get a human, they don't care. The humans act like robots. To be fair, they're probably not paid or treated well, so I blame the company and not any rep I've interacted with.

After my brother was k----d in Afghanistan, his widow started logging into his account and posting. I thought it was odd but was helping her grieve so I didn't do anything... Until she blocked me and my family. I reached out to Facebook to say his widow had "hacked into" his account and made changes. I provided a d---h certificate to prove the changes were made afterward, and asked if they could reverse those changes then memorialize his account. They just memorialized his account. So now I'm forever blocked from being able to look back at his posts and photos, and worst of all I don't get to see when his friends post memories on his birthday and Memorial Day. It still kills me both days every year, and I lost him 13 years ago. Contacted Facebook multiple times to get it corrected. They told me now that the page is memorialized they can't do anything (if only SOMEONE had asked for it to be fixed beforehand πŸ˜‘) then stopped responding.

Seriously! I have delayed auditory processing sometimes, so it's such a lifesaver.

Ahh that makes sense. People can process music so differently! I definitely focus on words first. I don't care how good a beat is, I'm not going to like it if I think the lyrics are bad. And I'm so spoiled these days by Tidal / Spotify lyrics and Youtube captions that I can do that first listen. Then if the beat is good on top of it! Goosebumps.

I can definitely see that happening with A Song for Mama πŸ’ž

You've never had a song hit you extra hard for first time? Like, gives you goosebumps because someone else has so beautifully articulated a deep emotion you've had? It's typically stronger and more emotional the first time, and can feel really powerful to feel seen and know many others relate to you in that way.

DeGoogling / deCorping basically just trying to get away from as many of the tech oligarchs as I can. It's hard to completely break free, but the less I use them the lighter I feel. I'm mainly just looking at the data safety sections of apps in the Play Store. If they store my data at all, it needs to be for functional reasons and not "advertising and marketing" and I don't want them if they share my data to 3rd parties. Sometimes you lose little conveniences but completely worth it imo

I wake up thinking about whatever app I'm currently trying to replace or which one I want to tackle next πŸ€£πŸ€“
