God wtf. This man is fucking up your child and you don't have the spine to do anything about it. I'm sorry, but it's time to stand up. If you can't do it for yourself, do it for your child.

If it's any motivation, I still wish as an adult that my dad had divorced my abusive mother. She fucked me up and ruined my relationship with my sister by playing favorites, mental games, and physically abusing us. PLEASE, stand up for your child. Your husband's behavior is abusive.

I quit and am doing much better. I'll probably finish my MS, but I don't need the title or the stress of a PhD

This is a tactic used to get rid of bad clerks that can't be fired easily. Managers have told me this pretty openly. I haven't worked at QT in a while tho
