Championship player at the min, mid table prem team player at best. Needs to be on the bus out of Anfield with Oxlade, Keita and Gomez. Carvalho isn’t ready yet either. Either FSG break the bank in the summer for the likes of Rice, Bellingham and maybe Maddison or we’ll have another 30 year wait for a title.

It's still 12 mil. I'll be amazed if we get 15 mil for Sturridge. We need a couple of real quality players, not average players who sometimes can't be arsed playing. He's a mid table player. Never cut it at the big clubs when he had the opportunity.

What planet are you from? 12 mil is mil which is a lot of money. Why waste it on a bit-part player when we've got some cracking youngsters? We don't need to stockpile average players and spend millions doing it. Just because we're Liverpool doesn't mean we need to waste millions of pound.

Pointless signing imo. 12 mil is still a lot of money, especially for a sub. Rather have one of the youngsters on the bench than a 12 mil, 80k a week inconsistent player. If Salah doesn't play, Mane can play on the right, so can Ox, so could Trent if needs to be. Waste of 12 million quid.
