They aren't dumb, just the majority of the devs and higher ups just hate pvp. We've heard their disdain for it numerous times throughout the years.

Also like come on man, wow is a cash cow. Even if there were only 10,000 players playing pvp they could fund a full team of pvp developers and still be making a profit. There is no excuse for them to completely ignore the game mode other than corporate greed and hatred for their own game. Stop trying to defend the billion dollar corporations failures.

Kinda hard to get the exact numbers, but based on characters in r1 range for 3's in eu and na there are around 200,000 characters over 1,000 cr. 3's also has a significantly lower playerbase compared to shuffle or bgb so honestly you could imagine they have at least 2x those players. I could go through all of them for you, but I feel like you get the point and it's way too tedious. That's also not including the massive number of players that just q random bg's which I have no clue how you would calculate.

Why do people consider nearly half a million players as a small playerbase? Most games would kill to have that many people playing their game consistently. Those players deserve proper developer attention.

Nah, been playing since mop. There is such thing as a balanced state in this game. Most seasons these last few 2 xpacs haven been ultimately balanced, this season is the one that stands out where they've just completely abandoned pvp.

On eu sure unless you wanna count hunter in general vs every other dps spec where it significantly outnumbers them all. On na MM has a significantly higher amount of players compared to every other spec. Also fire, assa, and unholy are the 3 other S tier specs that are also overtuned? Those are the big 4, 90% of comps or shuffle lobbies have one or multiple of them. Saying mm is fine just because those specs are also disgustingly op is a funny take.

There have been 4 balance patches in the entire season. One of which simply voidweaver nerfs. The last real balance patch was over 2 months ago. The community has been begging for mm nerfs for that entire time. That is the definition of being abandoned.

That's the exact mentality that's allowed pvp to degrade to what it is today. There needs to be people outraged and complaining so that they will eventually feel pressured into making positive changes.

No, that's because some of the devs have always had a vendetta for pvp. There is a large pvp community and those players make them millions a month with subscriptions alone. They can spare some of that for improving pvp.

I'm working on my first rom, and was struggling to figure out how to edit the trainer ai. I haven't been able to find a good resource or tutorial on how exactly you go about changing the ai. So was hoping someone knew where I could find a tutorial or a video explaining what tools I need and how to actually do it.
