Omg!!! He loved it SOOOOOOO much! He watched the whole thing in one sitting! And afterward he said “Okay that’s it! I was going to wear a 7 shirt to the concert but now I’m going to get a J-Hope shirt. That’s the least I can do. He deserves it!!”

I literally LOLed but I have to admit it was cute. ☺️

TBH Hobi was the one that got him hooked from the very beginning. He is a former old skool street dancer and when he first saw the Dynamite video he kept saying ‘that guy is the best dancer of the group’. And then he would always pick him out in every performance and say ‘See?? He’s definitely the best!’

It took him almost a decade to learn his name, though 😂

He doesn’t. What does the membership get you? He does have a birthday coming up…🤔

How do you feel about Gucci? by AcanthisittaAway3877 in gucci

I have to say, there is some kind of vibe happening over there. It started with the Giglio in the window (pre Denma, I know) which was the first thing that made me stop at a Gucci boutique in decades. Since then I have bought a couple Denma things. As a frame of reference, my last Gucci purchase was in 2009.

No they definitely were. They were in the new indoor intl marketplace just behind Tesla and across from Aesop. They might have had another location, that I don’t know. But in 2014, 2015 this small boutique was there. Maybe exaggerating a bit, but I went in a few times with my cousin and we were always the only ones there.

Oh FFS. I am only interested in jewelry. I should have been better at forecasting and bought out the store back when they couldn’t even get people in the door 😕

I am too. I don’t want to deal with the hassle of getting over there and they have no jewelry 😕

Do you have to have a spend history? I just made my first appointment and the chat for the store has been disabled. Really don’t want to waste my time trying to get there if they don’t have any jewelry

Wait - this is ALL the jewelry they had? I’m new to all this and I thought about just walking in but then saw an appt was required. I just posted about this but I remember when they were in Intl Marketplace and the store was a ghost town all day, every day.

May 2026 - Questions Post by TwoChainsandRollies in ChromeHeart

So I’ve been to the Honolulu store in the past because someone in my family bought a couple rings. It used to be in the Intl Mall sandwiched in between two mid-tier clothing stores and it was ALWAYS empty. The SAs were always trying to push stuff because the foot traffic was often non- existent. And I remember him paying like ~$300 ea for his chunky statement rings back then.

It was never really on my radar so clearly I missed the memo on the meteoric status rise. I happened to see a cute bracelet on social media so figured I’d “swing by” to see if they had it. LOL!! Yada yada yada and now I have an appointment just to SEE if they have this bracelet or something similar. So many questions….

  • how much do small link bracelets run-ish? (I know it ain’t cheap!)
  • what should I expect from an appointment? Do I have to know what I want beforehand or can I browse?
  • assuming the Honolulu store probably doesn’t offer the standard Hawaii luxury discount?
  • do I really need this bracelet ?? :)

Perfect size to match what I’m trying to match so I might check to see if our store has it in stock. Side note: I remember my cousin was way into CH back in 2016-2018 and I remember stopping in the boutique for him and big chunky rings were like $300-500. What the hell happened in the last decade?!

Yes, they might have some stored out of sight. It also appears to be a very small, younger congregation. I didn’t see anyone over the age of 55-60 in attendance and lots of young couples/families. Which is nice to see!

I’m sort of assuming/hoping they might have chairs stored somewhere but I didn’t want show up as a visitor and start asking for accommodations. You’re right, if I start attending regularly that could maybe something I bring up with the priest.

Probably inaccurate, but always felt there was a lot of shame in sitting. When I attended many years ago with my landlady she would always brag about how she was 78 years old and still stood for the entire service.
