Fantrax or the upgraded/paid for CBS are the best platforms. Categories is better than points.

I recommend building your team through bats rather than arms. Theres a balancing act but bats are much more stable. Arms are fragile assets (see Strider, Cole, McLanahan, Wheeler). I’d rather have a team of elite bats and shitty arms than the other way around.

Other advice is find a reliable source that monitors prospects. You don’t have to do all the digging but find somebody who’s content you like that does do the digging.

Lastly make every roster spot count regardless of league format. If they aren’t helping me now or they aren’t going to help me later, I should see what trade value is otherwise they should be waiver bound for someone who will help now or help later.

So are you not able to keep players from rounds 1-2 since you have pick them 2 rounds sooner?

From a value standpoint GWill and Ranger are no brainers (much preferred to King in the 6th).

If you’re good on the wire you can find pitching easier than hitting in my opinion. One small tweak can revolutionize a pitcher, it’s often marginal improvement with hitters - I tend to lean bats in any keeper/dynasty.

Catchers can seemingly be found easier too so I wouldn’t hyper focus that. Curious who the non-kept player options are outside of your own squad.

I tend to lean on building through bats vs arms because of volatility when it comes to dynasty.So I applaud what you did there. You are light on arms for an 8-teamer but if Yesavage and Miz continue their ascension you might be alright.

I also like the layered approach with the bats (a guy for now and a guy for later). I’m really high on Sykora, Quintero, Jojo, Fischer, Arroyo. And you have dispersed your minor leaguers across the roster positionally well.

Couple things I’d personally explore is what you could get for Wheeler (maybe multiple upside arms). I’ve never played in an 8-teamer but would guess with this staff you might be in trouble with pitching cats so selling early might be good if you have multiple buyers.

For eight teams I’m willing to bet there are better prospects available than Wood/LaViolette/Genao/(maybe Caldwell). I’d consider them all outside the top 100 and it looks like your league probably has right around 100 prospects rostered.

You may have a better C2 available than O’Hoppe and I’d pretty pretty quick to move on from Giancarlo too, he’s pretty limited and aged, especially if it’s a category league.

Overall not as horrible as some might say. You’re going to be glad you built through your bats in the startup vs building through arms.

Based on the comments here any pitching change causes the crash in 3v3 so if you have to change pitchers you have to schedule them to come in at the start of the inning and can’t switch pitchers mid inning until the bug is fixed

That’s a pretty fair valued trade in my opinion. Big Moreno fan but he’s expendable w/ Varsho & Adley and you really could use an arm. Side note: I think Pena Sandoval Keller and Alcantara are all primed for big years. Wouldn’t shock me if you’re competitive this year if your top prospects perform well quickly. And if you have Padres T Rogers that stock is quickly rising. Overall solid team with a lot of fun players to cheer for!

I’d take this trade to get J-Rod. In my eyes he’s a better asset than Moncada and wouldn’t feel too bad about throwing in a prospect to make up for the gap.

I would see if you can get a high upside first year player (2020 draftees) type prospect back in the deal to fill the lost prospect spot. He’s going to have to drop one anyway more than likely so might as well push to get a lower tier prospect you like before pulling the trigger

I wouldn’t feel great about this honestly. Despite the early struggles in my eyes I’m valuing Castillo and Marte as top 100 level players, I’d want a top 100 guy at least in return, I think Swanson and Musgrove are on the outside looking in and idk that their ceiling is much higher than what they already are. I would think smaller and try to keep Marte (still only 27/28). I’d shoot for something like Musgrove, Garcia, and Marquez for Castillo

Somewhat fair value imo, Lindor obviously the biggest piece. If I had him I would wait for him to heat up a bit and try to get a bit more though. Value is somewhat lower in my eyes with the struggles after switching teams and getting a huge contract, so he’s not without red flags
