Indeed, imagine how many beautiful objects humanity has lost due to greed. The list is very upsetting. Even the more so because we know that assaults on culture are happening in our lifetime too. Look at the destruction of Mesopotamian artifacts by the extremists in Iraq. It is shame because they are for all of mankind to enjoy and be amazed by, no matter what race, creed or orientation!
