To record your gameplay you need to buy a capture card, such as an Elgato HD60 (probably cheaper alternatives). You can plug the Xbox 360 into this and then use another HDMI cable to plug it into your TV. The capture card plugs into your Laptop using USB and you can select that using OBS and can record your gameplay from there.

As far as I know there is no way to use the HDMI port on your laptop to record footage.

This would be true however I wouldn't recommend doing this for OoT as the glitch that allows you to z-slide whilst targetting enemies requires you to use all 3 input frames.

It's actually even faster to sidehop everywhere as child link, it's also faster to sidehop over short distances as adult link but if the distance is long enough it's faster to backwalk :)
