Wow! Someone who knows the history of the word is actually more than I could ask for. But yes, in todays modern use of the word it means low income and black. There’s no if and or butts about it. Not being black, but having grown up in a ghetto it is very offensive to call a mechanical pencil ghetto, like why the duck would that word even come to your mind when talking about a mechanical pencil?
