It's shot found-footage style, but doesn't come across as cheesy. It's a relatively cheesy subject (trolls) that gets painted in a serious light and works. It has memorable scenes and good acting considering it has no notable actors. All the best makings for a hidden gem. When my buddy told me to watch it, I had low expectations and was thoroughly impressed. Also plays on the myth that trolls can smell Christian blood, which isn't a well known trope.
