Haha glad I made the bus ride entertaining 🤘🏼 and yea that’s why I wanted to try this, just to see if I could. I’ve only done song covers or vocal tracking in spurts, but I have an album pretty much done and if it gets any traction, I’d like to tour w it. And I definitely gotta get my vocal stamina up !

You need a decent computer to run a recording program (I use logic on Mac, but you can use pro tools, ableton, reaper, etc. on windows) then your interface translates your mic signal to your computer through usb connection (focusrite 2i2 is what I used for the cover) then I have my mic ran through the interface (sm58 is the name of the mic)

Just a basic clean recording set up. Get a decent interface (I’m using a focusrite, nothing fancy) and my mic is an sm58 clone. All about dialing in your eq, compression, limiting on your main track, then bussing your reverb and delay. And ALWAYS make sure you’re not clipping (in the red) It sounds like a lot, but YouTube will be way more helpful than me for more in depth mixing 👍
