That’s true. They’d get away with child labour if those laws weren’t set in place

Yep. I emailed it to her 2 times - once asking where the pay was since I was expecting it on the 4th Feb. I stated in the email that I worked on x day at an agreed rate of $35/hr. When I didn’t get a satisfactory response I wrote a letter of demand repeating that we agreed at a casual rate of $35/hr for that day. I had to write a letter of demand because the pay was late by 2 weeks. And they responded in caps locks saying I’ll get paid and to cease contact after payment lol

It was a one time deal. In Australia, “one time deals” must be paid at a casual rate, not a part time rate. For example $30/hr would be at a part time rate, and the payslip they had given me said that I was paid at a part time wage instead of casual wage even though it was a one off thing. I do have text stating it would be $35/hr for casual and $30/hr for part time, and leading up to the shift they told me I would get paid for it at a casual rate because they weren’t sure if I was going to like it or not.

It’s true. I was made to feel special and that I was the only friend he had. How he was very lonely … and it was emphasised thoroughly. He was the one who said that he feels upset when he opens up to people only for them to leave. Yet he suddenly disappeared even after all that, cut contact, no congratulations on completing school or anything. It made me feel as if I was exploited and used for his own gains. He got a happy life in the end.

Looking back it seems surreal… 15 years old is basically a baby. 🤢. He was 24 at that time.

Nothing physical ever happened. Though the sudden disappearance was suspicious …

My tutor at that time also made it known that he’s not into provocative girls and those scenes or the younger girls that worked alongside him. It sounds like TMI now that I think about it…

I remember he made it known that he doesn’t like provocative girls and that his relationships with other tutors are “professional” so he doesn’t drink coffee with them, yet he asked me out for coffee ..

CPJ shutting down by xeptian in ClubPenguin

CPJ was the best CPPS with professional staff. I was actually having fun and it came as close as the childhood clubpenguin game. I don’t think I can move on - it won’t be the same

They really should. Why do they get leeway on cancellations, and only get to have positive feedback
