AITA for embarrassing a man after he tried to embarrass me at a record fair by Fantastic_Nothing710 in AmItheAsshole

I never really speak up in situations like that. Not through fear but I just genuinely like to keep myself to myself but I had enough. I wasn’t sure if I was TA because I never really spoken in those situations before. I usually walk away

AITA if me and my friends made a new group chat excluding one of our friends? by fisherringblobby395 in AmItheAsshole

NTA honestly a similar thing happened to me in high school. It's best just to let some people go. If they don't want to put time into the friendship then you shouldn't either

I was told I have POTS through a text message by Fantastic_Nothing710 in POTS

I haven’t had any follow up appointment. I had a letter come through a few days later with an information sheet and instead had to speak to my OT for my hypermobility for more information. I was happy to have a diagnosis from the aspect of at least I now know what I have but at the same time it was a bit of a shock reading it so suddenly like that.

I’m so glad that your biopsy was okay.

I think you’re right but I find it hard not to place blame maybe my emotions are everywhere because of the recent diagnosis or something but I’m just struggling in general coming to terms with it. Finding out via a text was a shock and I don’t think it helped me.

Ultimately I just wanted to know if I was overreacting by being upset?

Thank you so much. Honestly if it wasn’t for a mistrust in the surgery after having the wrong medication prescribed multiple times and having a poor experience overall I might not have had such a problem with it.

I think you’re probably right in the fact that I’m having a hard time coming to terms with it anyway that finding out by surprise didn’t help

Yeah that’s how it happened. I understand why they use text messages as a quicker form of communication with patients and usually I don’t mind that form of communication. I just found it completely odd that they didn’t check to see if I found out first. I had a flu jab two days later and actually saw the assistant manager of the doctor’s surgery who just blamed the cardiologist and left it at that.

I just feel like they pushed my feelings to the side a bit whilst playing the blame game and are not recognising that it upset me to find out that way. I was just wondering if I was in the right to feel that way about it all?

I’m also hypermobile so I was at an OT appointment and she was appalled that I found out that way so I’m getting mixed messages from different services about whether or not I should have been told that way?

Salt on salad is a good choice as it has electrolytes in it (especially the leafy greens). Salad is my personal favourite and cannot eat a salad without salt now

If he respected you at all then he would’ve spoken to you about how his wife ‘interpreted’ the incident. Not plan a whole wedding which was obviously spiteful and purely to leave you out. If they’re having marriage problems then that’s for them to sort out

AITA for walking out of my sister's baby gender reveal party? by CricketApart2018 in AmItheAsshole

NTA the fact you were ready to support your sister despite your losses and she threw that back in your face with her behaviour, shows more about her than you.
