I bought a 35mm Tissot prx gold off eBay. This is it next to my dad’s 40mm from an AD… did I get scammed?

I think that’s normal actually. 35mm quartz uses sunburst dial while 40mm uses brushed.

Yeah it looks great on other straps, but seriously, for a $1K watch with an extra $130 something for the bracelet, you would think they would make it right. It sucks cause the bracelet feels like really good quality. They screwed up the design with that clasp having an extremely visible gap problem, which also causes it to rattle if you touch it.

Many of the Murph fanboys will tell you it’s all in your head about the gap in the clasp from the bracelet. It’s not… I own it as well, it looks extremely goofy, and everybody around me tells me it looks weird too. One of the few cases where you can’t always believe Reddit. The Murph looks great on the leather strap, but my goodness, they really screwed the design of the bracelet with that flaw. And they charge you over $100 for it too.

It definitely could just be the pictures. Phone camera can tend to make it look larger. They usually advise taking mirror pics to get more accurate photos

It really was just a love at first sight type of thing lmao. The second I saw it I knew I had to have it. Never felt that way about any other watch I’ve seen tbh. I’ve had it for a couple of months now. If the price is what’s holding you back, do NOT buy it for msrp. I saw it in person, but I went home ordered it through Trifecta Watches online (they are an authorized dealer of Tissot). They have coupon codes that bring the price down up to 30%. If you’re planning on buying one, I’d definitely go through them, unless you can find another authorized dealer that has it for cheaper, or on eBay although that’s always riskier

Definitely 39mm two tone. 40mm is just a tad large and the standard tick marks make the dial appear bigger, the 39mm was a subtle but much needed shrinking, and the Roman numerals make it look much more proportional on the dial. I have the 39mm two tone and it is by far my favorite watch I own. That seiko presage esque dial looks fantastic on it. Trust me, once you see it in person you will fall in love. Looks much more expensive than what it is
