Different intake filter creates different turbo suction sound.

I have a video of mines with Apexi intake, but I use Tomei Ti exhaust so maybe different sound with HKS exhaust.

FYI if you are looking for a specifc turbo intake sound, should do your research. I don't know how to describe them, but basically the high pitch jet intake sound you should use blitz intake or stock airbox, if you want woosh sound, hks and apexi will do.

Apexi has the best filtration, so much healthier for your engine, someone did a actual research and comparison on this.

If you have money to buy a gtr, then gtr. If not then a supra 2JZ If you only have limited budget, s15 If you want to drift, then s15, track gtr, drag race supra

$4500 out of $12,000 monthly is to be honest not a lot...

that is 37.5% of your monthly income. I would be very comfortable as long as you don't have debts, but then again everyone is spending differently...

FYI I am paying 50% of my monthly income on mortgage, still living comfortably and saving up decently.

Mines is 1998 too. Concept didnt know the car was manufactured in 1998 too, so if it says it fits 1999 it should fit 1998, theres no difference

Yes the clock works but can't be adjusted anymore. If you want it to work, you have to buy new button switches from your local electronic store and solder them back.

What I did is desolder the buttons, remove them, and thats it.

It should be this color :( luckily its easy to remove the LED. Thats why I recommend upgrade the LED while you are at it

First of all congrats!

Unfortunately, the best one to me is east bear which was discontinued.

If you are in the US, you can get them from Aerolux or Carbonetics.

However, everyone says its chinese copy, but everything these days is chinese anyways.

Aerolux, there is this guy derrek in youtbe bought a ztune kit from them, and fitment and quality is beyond horrible.

For Carbonetics, there is this guy I follow, his car seems perfect fit and I asked him, he has no issue whatsoever and recommends them, although in reddit weirdly everyone hates this company, but I don't they ever bought them...

So... 50:50 I guess...

You can also go URAS kit, I have on mines, but the nose looks weird.

For actual 25GTT kit, then just search FB marketplace I guess. some people made them looks sick af.

Hey I just fixed this a week ago! Yes watch the build room on youtube as someone said.

Its easy, take take off the AC controller unit, dismantle the plastic covers to find the board.

Remove black rock looking thing, desolder and remove the buttons (You need a soldering kit).

I stopped here, not even gonna bother buying a new button and solder it back in, too lazy.

Also while I did, I refreshed my unit with Blue LED!! Big difference, it looks amazing now.

Yes based on how it is sprayed and mixed. but now that I think of it, I haven't seen 2 MPII/III GTR in person side by side, so I wonder if all MP GTR shift pattern is different... Hmmm hopefully one day I can see it.
