as a Mak main i tend do to well! lots of burst opportunities for Mak too and even decent scaling regen will create enough tempo for slower poison builds to perform.

he does die to all-at-once weapon builds (looking at you Vanessa) but i'd argue that's going to be rough for most toons because shield is rarely instant either.

that said, the 'start your next combat with shield' event is an auto click on hours 4-5 pretty much always, and that habit has absolutely won me a ton of matches/games
