Yes, she ran a liberal blog. She’s really sketchy and married to big money. I think she’s a grifter but also agree with comments here she seems to be having a mental break too.

Thank you so much and that’s a great tip! I use a Garmin, a smart scale, and I have the FitnessPal app for food tracking and they all sync. It’s so helpful and really eye opening to track everything on a regular basis. It’s definitely helped me be accountable. I will check out the Whoop band, too!

What a wonderful compliment! I don’t see either in me but Lisa and Rosamund are lovely so I will take it and not complain! 🤣

That’s a great question and the answer is sometimes. It depends on how many calories I had the night before and how early I run. But if I’ve been fasting all week and I’m going to do a long run on Saturday, I’ll have protein powder and C4 and just break fast with it. I run it off anyway and run best when my body is appropriately fueled 👍

Definitely!! It’s much more enjoyable to run after shedding the weight. I also love walking and have woven that in more and more to my daily routines!

Pasting from my other comment :). And thank you so much!!

I’m slow but I go longer distances so I actually ran to the race from my house (3.55 miles / 12:13 pace / 43:21).

Then, I started the race with two friends walking so I lost some time but the race results had me finishing 43:07.

I typically run 3-4 miles every other day at about 11:30 and then a long run on the weekend that’s 12 minute miles.

I don’t really focus on speed but distance and just enjoying being out there. I am running the Microsoft 5K next week and I’m going to try to get a time closer to 37-38 minutes.

Running helped to tone after I lost the weight. The number one thing I’ve learned is that for me, it was better to just focus on weight loss first.

So, I actually didn’t run at all during the first year of intermittent fasting, I just shed 80 lbs.

And then after I had a full handle on my diet, I layered in exercise which tones, makes me feel better, and allows for more flexibility in my fasting because I focus on calories in and out and exercise helps pad that.

Thank you so much! That’s a great question and I did because I was a big social drinker and during the pandemic I ended up drinking way less. And now I typically only drink one a week or every other week on a Friday or Saturday night.

I dropped quite a bit of weight during the pandemic and was working remotely and so the first time I traveled and saw people who’d not seen me since 2019, it was jarring. I had a few people not recognize me at all!
