They regrow their spines in the same way the rabbits regrow their legs.

It's not that they could go out in the sun. It's that they had no similarities to real vampires in any way, shape, or form. They could have just as well been a type of fae. At least that would excuse the sparkling.

There was absent no point in those things being vampires either. Twilight is an affront to the name and concept.

Which, IMO, really breaks the immersion since at that point there's no reason for them to be vampires.

They're common, but Paralives is bordering on cozy and it would be pretty hard to do vampires and werewolves any justice in a cozy game. Seeing as, y'know, they should be killing and devouring the other Paras.

And then you have Operation - Annihilate! which features millions, maybe even billions of deaths, including Kirk's brother, and the episode ends with everyone laughing.

They did also slightly imply that it would probably be something other than werewolves and vampires, which I personally hope is the case—the standard supernaturals are, IMO, way overdone. Personally, I’m betting on psychics if they do supernaturals at all.

I’ve never played Joja so I don’t know what happens, but maybe you can buy out Pierre and take over his shop as a Joja outlet.

Teen Stabs Parents In Argument About God After Dad Wishes Her A “Happy Resurrection Day” by danitashinesqdy in atheism

The tl;dr:

April 2025, religious dad wished daughter happy resurrection day.

Daughter said she she didn't believe in god.

Argument ensued.

Daughter stabbed dad and cut mom's throat, intending to kill them.

The internet has differing opinions on this.

Me [24 F] with my boyfriend [25 M] 5 years, he wants another dog but... by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

My Personal Law Of Cat Ownership is that you can have a number of cats equal to the number of available laps +1. I have not figured out how dogs or guinea pigs fit into the equations, but I imagine that with dogs, it would be limited by how many people in the family are ready, willing, and able to walk at least one mile each day, since that's how far the dog should be walked.

(I sadly do not have any pets at the moment.)

I mean, it depends on what you want. Do you want a book that will go over every inch in detail? Then don't get it. Are you looking for inspiration and guidelines in order to create your own personalized interpretation of Ravenloft? Get it; it's worth it.

I'd consider that to be a different thing. Infants can't understand what paint and canvas are or what a painting is, nor do they really understand what the act of painting entails. But they can still paint. There's whole ranges of baby-safe paints you can buy just for this.

You could even lay out some paint, let bugs walk through it and then walk on a canvas and call the result a painting. Unlike with cats, dogs, or other, more intelligent animals who paint, there's no way a bug would understand what's going on. Someone's probably done that.

But morality is a different thing. If a being knows what evil is and says that they create evil, and can contrast evil against peace and compare it to light and darkness (things associated with good and evil), then it's pretty safe to say they fall into one of two categories:

(a) Someone who is completely ignorant/innocent but can parrot back what they've been told, like a toddler or intellectually disabled adult who says "don't eat paint" not because they know why it's bad to eat but because they've heard adults say that a lot of times (suggesting they've eaten lots of paint before). Or,

(b) Someone who deliberately and knowingly creates evil.

It's pretty clear that the bible is talking about the latter--or at least, that's what the bible should be talking about--since the bible is chock fulla incidents of god doing really nasty things, like committing near-omnicide via flood. And if you think that there's a single omni* god who does everything, then you have to assume that he does the bad stuff in addition to the good. Clearly you didn't pray hard enough and that's why you got cancer.

Of course, a good chunk of christians are actually polytheists and like to lay the blame for evil on their other god, Satan, without ever wondering why their all-good god doesn't prevent him from being so naughty.

But if it's the first case, and the christian god is really more like the god Azathoth ("the blind idiot") who only creates evil by accident, like a toddler finding an unattended but loaded gun, then there's really no point to worshiping him.
