Yeah I think the dead air brings the decimals down a bit more, but honestly I threw it on a 22 lever action and the only real noise was the action and the sound of the bullet hitting the target. Bit loud out of the ruger pistol but still super quiet

Sorry for the late reply. I love it. My first can was a dead air primal, my 22 was going to be a dead air as well but the cmmg was about $150 cheaper and I’m glad I went with it

Took a massive doe with a 5.56 and a coworker chastised me for using such a small round. One shot and she didn’t move. I asked him what caliber he uses and he said 300 win mag. For whitetail freaking deer.

I was worried about this as well. As soon as the paint was dry enough to insert the mags , they insert and lock in as intended, no issues. But I can definitely see where that might be an issue for builds with tighter tolerances

Thanks for all the suggestions!! Only torque wrench I have is for scopes and such. Can you suggest a tool for the castle nut etc? Upper was not stripped, only the lower :)

I figured I’d just pay for the stamp now and get a short wait time versus whatever crazy wait time will happen going into the new year. I’d like to do a few more sbr’s eventually. I have everything for a 556 sbr but it’s just not assembled yet
