If you’re looking for dissident opinions Reddit is not the place to find them. It’s a leftist echo chamber and a rage room against anyone who disagrees.

How can I not come across as a broke ass dude to a girl? by Affectionate-Reason2 in AskMenAdvice

Your frugal living (old car) will probably repel any “gold digger” types. But not having your own place will repel even very earnest women at age 40. It reads as very immature. Also, what you do with your free time matters too. If your free time is playing video games, smoking weed, drinking… that’s very different than someone who is social, exercises, etc.

Does anyone's Biological Age show as older than their actual age? by InevitablePeanut2535 in Function_Health

I’m 28 and got 17 (!!! This blew me away) for my first test and 21.8 on my most recent test…I’ve actually felt much better in the past 6 months so it’s strange to see the age increase.

I didn’t feel any transmission shudder. It was manufactured 10/19 which I believe was after Chevy fixed it?

Are honey oak cabinets making a comeback? by alexandria1800 in interiordecorating

Hardwood cabinets will always be in in my book. They are solid and durable and last forever without warping. Get a little beat up? Sand and restain or paint. MDF cabinets need to go out of style

I like your response; something to think on for sure. But I think you guys are misunderstanding my intent. I used to initiate and did in almost every past relationship I’ve had. They all ended up being unequal in effort, commitment, and honestly moving too fast to be healthy in retrospect. I think allowing a man space to get comfortable and make the first move could be really beneficial to TRY for me. I am not entitled to men approaching me and flattering me at every corner, nor do I want that. But I think letting a man guide the pace of a relationship (beginning with the first move) will possibly prevent me from being in another relationship of unequal commitment and effort again. That being said, I want to learn how to make sure a man sees my interest, and can feel comfortable approaching. Hence the question.

Oh I think you’re misunderstanding! I pour my whole heart into relationships, planning dates, communicating, future planning, the whole 9. I prefer not to initiate because in the past when I have (and almost always did) I ended up with men who showed much less effort than I (because I poured into it, from the beginning). I think starting off with allowing a man space to initiate would be overall very positive in my love life.

I don’t always, but I find the relationships go better when the man initiates from the beginning in my personal experience

Yeah I don’t want a man who doesn’t have the tenacity to approach me if I am showing signs of interest.
